These cabins are cute little rentals in Big Bear Lake with easy access to the town and the lake and a couple of some smaller ski areas on the south side of the lake. The studio rentals are quite tiny with 3 rooms: a bedroom that looks directly into the kitchen and bathroom. We enjoyed our fireplace quite a bit... More

JANUARY 16, 2015-->Today is the start of my mom's birthday celebration. In this short 2 day vacation, we're gonna stay here Bear Creek for 1 night. So far, service is good. Regular procedures when checking in, CC for incidentals, signature and rules. Above is my mom and behind her is the office and playground. Below that is our outside patio.... More

I just recently stayed there with my family over the weekend 1/9/16 and left on Sunday morning. It was the worst ever!! First the room is super expensive. Second we stayed in cabin #2 It was horrible! The beds are lumpy and one of them is leaning to one side.. That's how old those beds are. The supervisor is super... More

I am sooo glad we didn't go by what the reviews said. Seriously, I think the negative reviews are from city people who are expecting a 5 star experience. Guess what??? You will not find that anywhere in Big Bear unless you want to pay $1000 night for an upscale cabin. I will tell you what you will get: a... More

I've stayed at Bear Creek many times and it is my favorite place to stay at in Big Bear. Bear Creek is easily accessible off the main HWY as your coming in to town. And although it is not in downtown, the downtown shops and restaurants are only a short drive away, about 5 min. I like the cabins because... More

By far, the WORST experience we have had in Big Bear. It started off well- Check in was simple and our cabin was cute. The heater wasn't working properly, which wasn't a huge deal- we just work extra clothes to bed. The problems started the next morning. While we are getting ready to head out, a maintenance worker knocks at... More

My husband and I, stayed in Cabin/Studio #22 for the 4th of July weekend, over the weekend was a little bit warm and we didn't know that none of their cabins have air conditioning, their satellite "Dish Network" wasn't working, neither their DVD to watch at least some movies, the pool was very filthy with lots of dirt/mud at the... In Big Bear for a wedding and needed a place with 2 bedrooms chose the Bear Creek Resort. Each room is different, so I can only speak to our room #1. Very small, very very small. The bedrooms are so small there isn't room to layout your bag, no closets, and barely enough room to get around the bed. The... More

“Do not get cabin #1, it may be the cheapest but it is attached to #2 & #3, and you can hear everything in the adjoining rooms. Plus it is on the side of the Highway, with all the car noise.”

“Staff is very knowledgeable about how many people can fit into each cabin comfortably. Don't try to fit in more than recommended.”

“We had cabin 14 and it was perfect for the 5 adults and 4 kids. Only one bathroom but we made it work for the weekend. We made a nice fire and stayed up until 12:30 talking. A TV upstairs for the kids would be nice so we can actually talk without the blare of the TV. Kitchen was good for making coffee and breakfast in the morning but wouldn't attempt to cook dinner, too small and limited utensils, cups, forks etc.”
