The staff was nice. The rooms were fine. It's a nice property with picnic tables and seating for outdoor get togethers. There are views, some better than others and the hotel is just a 5 minute walk to Pine Knot Ave.

We've been here before. It's out of the mainstream and very very quiet. The couch and chairs are comfortable. The bed is in another room. It's like a 1 bedroom apt. They have everything you need if you want coffee, heat up food. My hubby and I bought some pie brought it back to the room heated it up and...

I stayed here with my wife and 4 year old in a standard room. The room was clean and had a queen bed and a little futon couch that folded flat into another bed. There was a tiny tv on the wall, a microwave, a little fridge/freezer, and a coffee pot with 1 packet of hot chocolate and 1 coffee....

We found a great deal on Group on and were not disappointed. The property is very modest and clean and the staff is very friendly. It does not offer any A/C but the weather rarely gets too hot, you will need to use the pot belly wood burning stove in the winter. Located near the ski resorts and walking distance...

A group of us were looking for a cheap and close place to crash before the Tour de Big Bear and found this place on the map. I wasn't sure how nice it would be but knew we just needed a bed to sleep and a place to shower for the night. To our surprise, this was a great choice....

This is a quaint, simple hotel that is very clean, and is in a perfect location. When cold, you have to use the pot belly stove or a space heater. I loved using the stove, turning down the flu and watching the flames through the glass door. It was plenty warm all night. It is next to the downtown so...

My daughter and I stayed at the Honey Bear Lodge and Cabins over Christmas to ski at Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. First off, let me say how pleased we were to pull up to the most adorable property upon our arrival on Christmas Eve - Literally a block from the village. We stayed in room 23 (loft) with a...

I have stayed at many resorts & motels in Big bear Lake since 1986 & since I discovered Honey Bear Lodge I won't stay anywhere else. My favorite room is #18 & it is clean, roomy, quiet, walking distance to the village & 10 minutes to Snow Summit. I always drive up to Big Bear Lake from Encinitas the night...

We went there after we found a really good deal online, but we couldn't book it through the site due to a bad internet connection. The guy at the front desk gave us a much higher rate, and kept asking if we're only staying for one night (even though we told him several times). When we asked if we should...

Hello, I am sorry you felt you were treated unfairly, though keep in mind that the internet deals that are from a third party are such a good deal that at times we do sell out very quickly. As you can see from 2/10/12 (the date we bought this business) we have had good reviews and none stating we were...
