Nice rooms, fireplace and all. Basics provided with breakfast included. The breakfast area is super small at reception and the selection is at the lower end of what I've seen. However, the rooms are clean and the hotel itself is in good shape. Which can't be said for other hotels in the area. We would certainly return. You can walk... More

This was a very nice place to stay. They were very accommodating. The bridesmaids all stayed in two rooms and although it was hot the place stayed cool and breeze. The Lake at Big Bear is very low. And the shoreline has retreated quite a bit. There is a pretty severe water shortage and water usage is restricted but overall... More

The other places we wanted to stay were sold out, and they had rooms available here. Room was surprisingly cool despite no ac. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly office staff. Rooms are not too soundproof though, as the couple a few doors down were being loud all night, if you know what I mean, and I couldn't leave the window... More

We decided to go to Big Bear Lake on a whim, which is no easy task on July 4 weekend. The Vintage Lakeside Inn had one room left and we took it via the internet and were very happy with our choice. Our room was newly refurbished, clean, comfortable and spacious. Additionally, the lake was at the end of the... More

The vintage inn is a great value for large rooms in a very central location. The rooms are clean though strangely laid out. The bathrooms are large almost too much so. Having said all of this the staff are very nice. There is a simple breakfast offered which is a nice touch given the price point. I have stayed at... More

We stayed two nights after long long flight, it was great. Spacious, clean and newly remodeled room and bathroom. The included breakfast was a bonus (with pretty decent waffles). Very cute town with nice people.

I booked a room for 3 people. When I arrived I was asked for 10 dollar extra for the 3rd person. Although it stated clearly on my confirmation that my rate is for 3 people, they charged me the extra 10 dollars. Very bad business practice. I was honest, but the property is not. I recommend to be dishonest as... More

We traveled with people with disabilities(in wheelchairs)- The staff went out of their way to accomondate us, they even added a ramp to the Gazebo, so my kids could access it. The staff was awesome, and we had a great time.

I stayed here for one night, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The bed was better than I expected from other reviewers. The only drawback I had was there was o A/C in the rooms, and though it is usually relatively cool in Big Bear, it was near 90 degrees this weekend, and kept the room warm during the... More

I really liked this place. Great location (I walked to Sandy's Sports Bar for dinner and a plethora of sports games and the Big Bear Marina to kayak.) I was able to get quickly to hiking places and the grocery store in the car. The room and grounds were no frill. The room was clean and comfortable. I could hear... More
