My friend and I spent a week in a two bedroom cabin and couldn't have enjoyed it more. No TV, no wifi, no modern conveniences whatsoever. Just peace, quiet and the gorgeous Sierras. Will be back next summer.

We stayed a long weekend in the Fishgut Cabin, and didn't want to leave! We drove up the mountain just in time to enjoy the wood-fired pizza (which is a 'must-do') and were greeted by the entire staff as if we were family or long-time friends. Everything about the village is done right... the cafe, the pizza in the garden,...

We stayed at Cardinal Village Resort over Labor Day weekend and we loved it so much we reserved to return the following year while we were there! The cabins are rustic but charming. We are campers normally. This place is a great step up from camping but still affords us (and the children) easy access to great trails in the...

This was our first trip to Cardinal Village and it will definitely not be our last! The cafe had great breakfasts! Our host Ken introduced himself to all of us and made us feel so welcome and shared his knowledge of the area with us. Other staff were friendly as well. Our cabin was pretty old, but clean with a...

Spent four days here with family and it was the perfect solution to experiencing Bishop a step above tent camping and without going to a hotel. The accommodations were comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen a great addition (and really, necessity) having kids as part of our trip. All of the cabins are a little different-some more updated than others. Love...

We spent a weekend at Cardinal Village Resort in the Midnight cabin with 4 people. The setting is lovely, staff are incredibly friendly and cabins are cozy. Plus amazing hiking nearby! The reason we are giving this 4 instead of 5 stars is the disappointment of their weekend all-you-can-eat pizza night on Saturday. We came back from a 12 mile...

We spent two nights in the Moonlight cabin. A rustic older cabin on the outside and very roomy and comfortable on the inside. Nice sized kitchen with a separate bedroom. The sound of the creek just outside was especially nice. A large well kept lawn area just outside the door was active with birds, chipmunks and a couple deer along...

It was our first time here. My husband and I found it wonderful! Our cabin was clean, comfortable and pretty. We would sit outside by our campfire pit and see the top of the mountain rock. At dusk, what a beautiful sight! And the stars, just a sight to behold! We went for walks, visited the lake and the horses...

If you are looking for an alpine, old west experience this is the place for you. This place is adorable with its café, little shop, quaint cabins, horse-back rides, fishing pond, and hiking trails. The people are very friendly and helpful. The cabins seem a little pricey, but the views are stunning and the atmosphere is magical. A doe and...

We had a wonderful time at CardinalCabins. Everything was excellent starting with the welcome at the reception. Very quiet area, nice rooms, full kitchen, nice fireplace and more important excellent fishing.
