We stayed in a Villa of this resort from 07/24 to 08/02/2020. We enjoyed complimentary airport shuttle service, poolside cabana, canoe, and sail boat. Peta, the Private Butler assigned to our villa, was very dedicated and efficient. Peta escorted us to our reserved poolside cabana and restaurants. She took care of our reservations for restaurants, tours, horse riding, food deliveries, room services, grocery & souvenir shopping. We simply texted our requests to Peta or talked to her. Complimentary breakfast items delivered to our dining room were sumptuous. [No buffet breakfast due to Covid-19]. All the resort staff members were wearing masks, and were courteous. Villa had a private pool, 6 bedrooms, a media room, breathtaking ocean view living room & terraces, sauna, elevator, washer, dryer, etc. Complimentary wine, soda, still & carbonated water bottles were pre-stocked for us. All rooms had separate climate control panels and full bathrooms with hair dryers and toiletries except lotion. Slippers were provided. [Caution: All the tile floors & marbel staircases were slippery when wet, especially on barefoot. Beware of occasional mosquitos indoor & outdoor] Resort’s beautiful private beach with turquoise water and soft white sands was very attractive. The beach was safe with gentle waves, soft sea beds and shallow water even over 100 feet into the sea from the shore. Only 2 out of 4 restaurants were open during our stay; Sui-Ren & Colonnade. The staff handled Isaias very well.

This is the fourth time we have visited Turks and Caicos, it was certainly our best yet. We normally stay in the Village. But this time were staying at shore club.

Let's start with check in. We were taken directly to the concierge where we were quickly checked Our room was HUGE! It was Very clean and a lot of room, comfortable. Our bed was very comfortable, everything was well stocked and super clean.

We ate at numerous restaurants, on the island our favorite was Sui-ren Marie was our server she was on point very friendly, attentive, professional, Clean, she was very polite. She recommended the Sui-ren showder, the Nikkei salad, the lobster tail, lamb and the chefs starter food was delicious and everything comes out on time. And Marie also surprised me with a special for my birthday.
We loved the size of the resort, it was great to walk everywhere and explore. Our favorite bar was Alcy with the best bartender, Andrew We spent our days on the beach, and at pool which was our favorite and very convenient for lunch.

. It was fun, the staff were great, they were amazing! Totally recommend if it's in your budget.

Overall, an amazing vacation, the staff were all super friendly and helpful, everything was very clean and well kept. We will be back if we can afford it .

here three times in three days. Destiny is the best waitress, she was so nice. The food is fantastic and the restaurant is right on the beach with the seabreeze. I can't say enough about this place, go and enjoy.

Where do I start? We just returned from our overdue honeymoon (because of COVID) and could not have had a more exceptional experience at the shore club. The property is STUNNING and perfectly kept, the beach is incredible, close enough to go to grace beach for shopping and restaurants but far enough away to not be on top of other resorts. The room was beautiful- light, airy and dreamy with great attention to detail. The most spectacular part of the resort is the incredible staff. Everyone was so attentive, welcoming and friendly and really went above and beyond to treat their guests like royalty. From the bellmen to housekeeping end everyone in between. Special thanks to Kerry in the front office who catered to our every whim and is just a wonderful man. Delonzo at the beach who is so friendly and accommodating and Jermaine at the bar who makes the most delicious drinks and is so entertaining. We cannot wait to return to this blissful oasis. Thank you shore club for the most magical trip!

We stayed here for our last night before our flight back to NYC and were impressed by how beautiful the resort and beach are. You don't feel overwhelmed by the number of people staying here because of the high landscaping and beautifully constructed rooms and buildings (though which only have one elevator used by both staff and visitors). We loved the options of pools to explore and bars to hang out in (pool bars). We loved our room and appreciated how quiet it was even though we had a pool view. Breakfast was also delicious.

What I didnt like:

1. Over a course of 24 hours where we twice visited the front desk to say we wanted a taxi to the airport and then the morning of our departure called them from the hotel room to confirm the taxi request, they managed to completely mess up this simple normal request and did not even apologize. The valet supervisor was so obnoxious I refused to speak to him after our first conversation about the mess up (the front desk ladies were more helpful). Definitely far from 5 star service.

2. We were grateful that we were able to get our room before the normal check in time, but having initially said that someone would bring us our room key when the room was ready, we had to call 1.5 hours later and were told to come pick up the key whenever - again not exactly $1000 a night treatment from a 5 star resort.

3. The food at their fine dining restaurant is mediocre. The service was good however.

4. There was construction by one of the main pools all day. It was funny and sad to watch as again you would think that more care would be taken not to disrupt the experience for the guests while not knocking down walls in the most clumsy way possible (we witnessed this).

5. Though breakfast was great, the table service was not. We had to ask for our bill 5 times before we actually received it (20 min wait after we were ready to leave). The breakfast area was not super busy for such oversight and again, no where near 5 star experience.

Husband and I visited for our honeymoon. We had stayed at the Grace Bay Club before our visit and the service was amazing there. When we got to the Shore Club we were blown away with how nice our room was. The hotel lobby and all the facilities are beautiful

When we started to order drinks it took over 30 minutes to get our drinks and they did not taste good.
Many times our order was missing or wrong and the servers didn’t seem to care. The food was not the best either besides the sushi restaurant they have onsite. Would’ve been an amazing place to stay but we couldn’t get service anywhere.

Dear Helen H, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. I would very much like to have the opportunity to apologize directly on a phone call, and also to hear more about your experience. If you would be so kind to reach out to me on (649) 232-7971 or paul.telford@theshoreclubtc.com it would be greatly appreciated. I remain most apologetic, Paul Telford General Manager

My husband and two middle school aged kids just returned from The Shore Club and loved every minute. The hotel was less than half full or it just felt that way. Nonetheless service was excellent and is a testament to a staff well trained with warm attitudes. We stay at 5-star hotels and I personally have been to TC over 10 times and I can definitely say this was among the best stays I’ve had on the island. We had a connected double garden view room which was perfect for our family. I only wish I had a washer/dryer but otherwise we were rarely in the room. The bed was a bit soft for my taste but it was fine. Housekeeping both daytime and turndown service is excellent (and I’m quite critical of this service).

The food at the resort is excellent and we really enjoyed the Asian cuisine at Sui Ren several times. Breakfast is very well done and I am often disappointed at other hotel breakfasts. Pool service is fast and done very well which I can say with a good amount of experience is where most resorts fall short with really long wait times and often errors in the order. Again, I think the resort was not at full capacity but I’m still impressed. The shuttle to The Palms in Grace Bay is a great service and we enjoyed the many of my favorites restaurants. Otherwise there is nothing else on Long Bay for food so it’s nice they provide this transportation.

A shout out to Lyndon in the dining room whose service with a warm smile and peaceful way about him was always a treat to see every morning. Everyone there is great. Onelia at Concierge helped us book a wonderful fishing trip on which my son ecstatically caught several fish. Thanks so much Onelia.

Amenities and grounds are beautiful and well maintained, always towels and cold water available. The gym is also well equipped tho the A/C seemed to be on the blink so a little uncomfortable and humid in the room. I’m sure they’re having it fixed. One suggestion would be to get the heavier sets of the dumbbells you have in the low weights that don’t have those old style, large discs, really hard to handle. I do wish they had a hot tub at one of the two family pools (only one at adult only pool) so we never got to enjoy.

Thanks to all at The Shore Club. Again, probably my somewhere between 12-13th time in TC, this was tops!

Disappointed is an understatement. The air conditioning in our two bedroom two and a half bathroom suite does not work properly. We have our thermostat on 64 and the bedroom does not get below 76. They sent three different ““ engineers to assess the situation. One came in and was at the end of his shift so he pretty much paid no mind to it. The next came in and said it was a issue with the fan not being on high, which we placed it on high when we got there. The third engineer said that everything is working properly. Bottom line is it’s still 76° in the room.

We have ants throughout the room. They sent one Attending in with an old rag and some bug spray. Let’s just say that they are no Terminix.

The staff wear masks however all of their noses are exposed and half of them leave it below the neck. For a destination at a five star caliber one would expect that their Covid policies would hold all of their staff accountable to have their masks on properly.

The staff also have poor attitudes and no sense of urgency. We waited 20 minutes for a cocktail and it was incorrect once we got it. I can go into three or four paragraphs about the sense of urgency but it’s a waste of time.

I requested a vehicle to go downtown and was told it would be 10 minutes. 40 minutes later the poor attitude on the taxi driver said he did not have enough time to wait five minutes as I jumped into the grocery store so I would need to call a cab and would take 45 minutes to get there.

I highly suggest you dive into your expectations before spending close to $2000 per night on a trip. We are used to going to the one and only and four seasons. This is absolutely not on the same caliber as that.

Safe travels everyone

We originally booked this trip for April 2020 but alas COVID. I rebooked through Travelocity which was a nightmare experience trying to use my credit. I was nervous to travel with children outside of the US but did the research and decided that we were going to go.

I am so happy that we did, it was an amazing trip and we had the most wonderful experience at The Shore Club. Everyone there, all the staff, other guests, drivers etc were kind and friendly. The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating. Erica was particularly awesome.

We requested connected suites and they were able to meet our request, our original rooms were on the second floor but had a musty smell which I know is common in the islands. They were very gracious about it and upgraded us to pool view suites on the third floor that smelled wonderful.

The main pool is amazing as are the other 3 on the property. The beach is windy as the resort is on the windy side of the island. I am a beach person but due to the wind I found it more comfortable at the pool which is just steps away from the beach. My children (11 and 8) had a blast as they could go back and forth from pool to beach as much as they wanted. The water at the beach is warm, very shallow and calm.

The food is good, not amazing but I have picky eaters and nobody complained.
The breakfast is great, plenty of options from fruit, granola etc to full on American breakfast. Easily one of the best breakfast options I have found at any resort. The omelette bar is def the way to go!

We felt very safe and comfortable with the Covid protocols on site, all staff wore masks - I never saw any staff member without a mask in the six days we were there. The on-site testing facility is set up at the spa and our experience was seamless.

I can’t think of a better place for our first post Covid trip. The property and setting itself is beautiful and pristine but the staff really take it to the next level. Thank you, we can’t wait to come back!!

This review is for the Rope Bar.
I posted it a week or so ago but for some reason it was attributed to a Japanese restaurant in the hotel. It was not meant for that restaurant. It was meant solely for the Rope Bar.
I had lunch at the RopeBar twice. A really pretty and relaxed space.
The service was excellent and the staff extremely friendly.
The food was better than most of the places I had been to on the island.
But… There always is a but. The kitchen staff needs a great deal of training. When you order a salad and a burger they should not come together! Do you eat the salad before it gets warm and soggy or do you eat the burger before it gets cold!
I ordered a Cobb salad and it came with raw bacon! Completely raw!
When I mentioned it to the server she brought me a napkin on which to put the raw bacon and she took it back to the kitchen. That was the last I had seen of the bacon! Of course she should have taken the whole plate.
At one lunch I wanted to take some of my salad home. Instead of taking it to the kitchen and packing it for me, they brought me a box and a small container that the server scraped the dressing into.
If I am working for the restaurant, i.e. packing my food, then I expect a check at the end of the week!
I would definitely give it another try and I would be hopeful that they could do better training the kitchen staff.

Overall, this was a great experience.

The aesthetic of the Hotel was absolutely beautiful. The entrance is very nicely designed and given that the Hotel was only built in 2016, everything is relatively new and kept up really well.

The food on the premises was excellent. Sui Ren, the Japanese restaurant on site had some of the best sushi we ever had. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent. The food at the pool bar, Sea Grapes, had a wide variety of selections and was extremely fresh.

The quality of service overall was excellent for the most part. From the front desk, to housekeeping and bar staff, everyone was amazingly welcoming and kind. Making the experience even more memorable. Particularly, the bartender at Sea Grapes, Jermaine, was one of the best people we had come across on the island. Not only was he excellent at making drinks, he also brought life to the bar and made everyone feel welcome. If you are in Turks & Caicos I highly recommend stopping by his bar and grabbing a drink!

Lastly the rooms and cleanliness of the property were excellent as well. Amazing hotel and I would recommend to anyone coming to the island.

I will caveat one thing - upon arrival, the Hotel made it same as if we would be able to use the amenities at The Palms, a sister property in the Grace Bay Area. We followed the guidance and tried to use the amenities (towels & pool area) at the sister hotel & were told we could not do so. A frustrating afternoon as we had wasted time traveling to the Palms and trying to get a straight answer out of management over there, who told us that in the case they experienced a towel shortage ( at a 5 star property that charges $600+ a night) they could not let us use their towels. A pretty ridiculous statement given they had about 7 people at their pool. All of which could have been avoided by The Shore club better communicating the relationship between the properties. I brought my issue up to the front desk and they apologized but it didn’t change the fact that we wasted time on our vacation to deal with an issue.

Also this hotel is located on Long Bay which is not as nice a beach as the grace bay beach. So some give & take in that regard.

We are truly delighted to know that you enjoyed your stay at The Shore Club and your meals at SUI-REN. We do provide a complimentary shuttle to our sister properties on Grace Bay Beach so that guests can explore the restaurants, spas and shops at each resort. We do apologise that it was not explained better that the pool and beach facilities at each resort are for the use of in-house guests only. We will certainly pass your compliments onto the staff. We look forward to seeing you again!
