The location couldn't be better, the room was spotless and housekeeping was prompt. The pool and hot tub/spa were very accessible and well maintained. The only downside was the fitness room. The equipment was very old and even had 'caution' tape wrapped around it so it couldn't be used. Otherwise, we loved this hotel and the charming town of Bodega...

i read the reviews, they definitely affected my booking choice. sounded like it would be so great. it had potential to be awesome, but we got bunked. our fire alarm started "chirping", around 7pm, before we left for dinner. at 11pm, we had to call the front desk, it was noise every 2 minutes. instead of just coming around to...

Was there 1 night with the family getting out of the city for a break... Our room was sufficient for 2 adults and two children under 10 , large bed , and sofa bed included .... we had a nice room with a view an small patio over looking the west and bay.... my only complaint is that the walls...

Heading out to the coast after a day of wine and beer we happened upon Inn at the Tides in a drive-by. It looked more expensive that it actually was, though I note other reviews have thought it over-priced; it must be the time of year or something. The rooms are in rows of chalets lined up on the hillside...

We stayed at this resort for the first time for a winemaker dinner featuring Hartford Winery. We booked solely on the basis of the dinner, with no expectations as to the accommodations. The service was excellent in every way. But when we walked into our room, we were blown away by the view. We had a 2nd floor corner room...

Inn at the Tides is a favorite destination -- near San Francisco and yet a world apart. Set on a west facing hillside overlooking the beautiful Bodega Bay and harbor, this restful setting provides stunning sunsets, great pelican viewing, and the fun of watching the fishing fleet and boats making their way into the Pacific. Friendly staff, convenient location for...

Planned a few days at the coast after great couple of months in the Bay Area. Warm welcome at the hotel, good food and good service at the in-house restaurant and the linked Tides restaurant. Room has stunning view over Bodega Bay, enhanced by bright November sunshine. Very comfortable room. Heating out to try hot tub at sunset - bonus!

Wake up to the sounds of a lone sea lion barking in Bodega Bay, site of Alfred Hitchcock's movie, The Birds. Have breakfast in the charming restaurant with a panoramic view of the quiet waters. The view is enchanting. We stopped by on a whim, hoping to find a room after driving down the Pacific coast. Yes, our spacious suite...

A nice hotel, but not "great". The complimentary bottle of Chardonnay was surprisingly good, as was the complimentary breakfast at the restaurant across the street which was a full meal with multiple choices.

This hotel is in a great spot. Nice views of the bay and easy access. From the outside, the rooms appear more condo-style than hotel, which is nice. They have plenty of parking. BUT - for over $200 per night for a king room, the value is questionable. While the room was clean, it was also dated. The towels were...
