A unique and one of a kind historic Inn. It is truly special to feel like you are walking into a 1950's resort and still be taken care of with a quiet room, pool and restaurant. This is a place to get away and reconnect with each other. We arrived mid week and were able to stay in the casitas...

We were two couples and had the place to ourselves for one night mid-week. The sense of period and history it evokes is wonderful and even if there was no one there, we didn't miss them. Great pool, great location and a terrific sense of getting away from it all. An early morning hike into a canyon and a very...

2 couples- both casitas. The staff left and we were literally alone. For the whole night and next morning. Next morning we checked ourselves out and hoped for the best. It was easily the most fun we've ever had at a hotel/resort. I did wake up at 1or2 a.m. wondering about roving bands of killers or homicidal motorcycle gangs, but...

I love this property. It's a throwback to another time when the Hollywood jet set would lounge in the desert to get away from it all. The Palms never feels crowded (it's like having a hotel all to yourself) and features well-appointed guestrooms, a stylish lobby with black & white photos of some of the Hollywood guests who stayed here...

This weekend was hot but it didn't matter. The hotel is an amazing 20th century modern jewel with an enormous pool surrounded by palm trees. Our room was comfortably cool, the bed was soft and comfy, their rooms are large. Ours looked over the desert, an amazing view. At night we sat by the pool and looked at the stars....

Couldn't get a room here, It was full, but I did get a fabulous evening meal. Their special menu, which was five star for me, was less than thirty dollars with a cocktail to start and tip. The waitress said the rooms were about $169 per night including a $10 voucher for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. My meal: martini...

Glad you were able to join us for dinner. Thank you for your very nice review, we wish we had the room to accommodate you in the hotel. Our location, view and Olympic pool are three of the very special attractions of the hotel. Thank you for telling the world! Hope you can visit again soon.

There are better options in Borrego if you're looking for cleanliness and modern amenities. The service is terrible but it is the desert. Not family friendly but it does have an amazing history. Their business was really shining back in the 1950's.

So sad… You have never stayed in our hotel and have never eaten in our restaurant. We did 86 you (you and your family are not welcome or allowed here) as a result of your visit to our restaurant just prior to opening, you trespassed on hotel guest’s privacy (peeking in windows) and you demanded our server move a reserved...

We came from Palm Springs and it was a delight to find an original modernist building in Borrego Springs and with such superb grounds and views. We chose one of the two casitas which allowed us to just walk out and admire the morning view across the pool. The room was spacious, well equipped with seating area around the fireplace...

Thanks for your review. We think of Borrego Springs as what Palm Springs was like 50 years ago, no stop lights, no franchises, just beautiful views and clean air. Very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay and had a chance to eat at the Coyote Steakhouse. Save some time on your next visit (which I hope will be soon)...

We were disappointed in our stay at the Palms. While a beautiful setting and lobby looked impressive that's where it ended. Although the rooms were clean they were not one your want to spend any time in. Definitely in need of a face lift. The entire complex is rundown and the hottub only came on between 4:30-7:30 limitng when one...

MJCV - Sorry to hear the hotel was a disappointment to you. Our policies which you agreed to at the time of booking clearly state there is a $20. fee for any changes or cancellations. The jacuzzi is on from 3:30 pm until 9:30 pm, the time most people seem to us the hot tub. We are green and try...
