We stayed at the Walker River Lodge on route from Las Vegas to Yosemite. I choose the lodge because of its location and was in easy reach of the 120 or 108 depending on weather conditions for crossing the sierra nevada. We arrived early evening in the dark after a long drive and were pleased to get checked in. Check...

Thank you for the nice review. We are updating all the bathrooms this winter! And you definitely don't need the AC - it was 6 degrees this morning! We hope you come and visit us again sometime.

Easy to find right off the I5. Quirky front desk staff but nice enough. Old motel with dated basics and musty smelling (especially with a/c on). Despite a pool being advertised online and right on their sign out front it was NOT available for use being fully tarped and bricked so I call false advertising on that front. We chose...

I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We are not off the I-5, we are on highway 395. I believe the pool not being open was your biggest complaint. We state everywhere on our site and in the AAA books that our pool in seasonal. With temperatures down into the 20's at night in October, it is extremely...

We were presently surprised when we stayed at the Walker River Lodge. Rooms offered much more that what we needed. Beds were good. Pillows were great. WiFi and a very good continental breakfast made the visit free from any inconvenience. This is a throwback to the motels of the past; that is, you can pull your car right up to...

Fall colors , enjoyed last year stay Repeated this fall and added a day. Well kept up, grounds as well. Pay extra for the river rooms if feasible. Big patio door looks out on river and sagebrush beyond. The wildlife passing by plus knockout sunsets great. Rooms relatively small, as is the WC. Biggy...Every thing works! Hot water in seconds....

Thank you for the great review! I will definitely tell my housekeepers what a great job they are doing. I am very lucky to have them, and most have worked for us for over 15 years - the ladies are like family. And thank you for mentioning Alberts - he does a great job with sandwiches and his steaks are...

Very nice place. Very clean. Log style bed & furniture. All the amenities you need without a bunch of stuff you don't. Free wifi. Continental breakfast. Nice shower. Friendly staff. Would stay again for sure.

This is a nice clean place to stay albeit a bit pricey for what you get. Nice decks attached to the rooms, limited continental breakfast, clean and comfortable, iffy WIFI. This seemed to be the best choice in Bridgeport and was close to Bodie.

We always ride through Hwy 395, but never stop, here in Bridgeport. We decided to plan our trip after the Reno biker rally. We made reservations here at the Walker river Inn, at Bridgeport,CA. We had room11, the Suite, its a smoking room, but non smokers, like us, were fine. I liked that the hotel supplied us with double the...

We stayed three nights here and enjoyed it very much. Our room had two queen beds to give us more space for our things and access to a little patio at the back with views of the river. The beds were comfortable and the room well kept, noise was minimal. The only thing we found slightly annoying in the room...

Thank you for the review and YES! all the taps are going to be changed out. Our water here in Bridgeport comes at such a force, that the taps break down really fast. We are going to do a full update to all the baths this winter, while our business is slow. So please come back for a visit next...

We love this motel. Parking was great, right in front of the room. We had a one bedroom suite, which washuge. Had a table for four and a bar counter, which had a refrigerator, a microwave and coffeemaker. Coffee maker had real mugs, which was a nice surprise. Room had a sliding glass door which opened to a back patio...

Thank you for the nice review. I just wanted to mention that our pool and jacuzzi are seasonal, I think this will be the last weekend they will be open. With night temperatures below freezing, it is getting a little costly to heat! However, fall foliage is starting to go off!!
