We stayed at Chelsea the first weekend of May, celebrating a few family milestones and enjoying the wine country. We wanted a place to relax, prop up our feet and recover for the next round of food and/or wine tastings. Chelsea Garden Inn was perfect - Just far enough off of the main drag, but within walking distance to anything...

We stayed in the Lavender Room at the CGI. It was spacious and had a queen bed in one room and a trundle day bed in the other which was also the sitting room. The bathroom was a good size with a vanity and shelving for cosmetics etc. and there were bath robes available too. The dining room is large...

The Chelsea Garden Inn is just two blocks from Lincoln Avenue, the main drag in Calistoga. We stayed in the Palm Suite which is spacious and cozy all at the same time. We felt like we were in our own private cottage. The innkeeper, Judy (I believe this was her name) was responsive, friendly. The entire property is quaint, lovely,...

If you're looking for charm, character, and a cozy place to call home for a few nights, Chelsea Garden Inn is it! I recently planned a trip for me and 16 of my girlfriends to Calistoga and stumbled upon CGI. Initially we were drawn to the fact that it could actually accommodate all 17 of us but once we arrived...

Beautiful Property in Beautiful Wine Country! What a wonderful find… We stayed in the Palm Suite which faces the street; but it was surprising quiet… did not hear a single car drive by during the evening. Very private, spacious and cozy. Property is clean & well maintained. The Innkeeper, Judy was so kind & welcoming. I will definitely return for...

We stayed at the Chelsea Garden Inn for Halloween 2012, and we enjoyed every minute of it. We got the Lavender Suite, which was very spacious and cozy. The front yard was nicely decorated with pumpkins and other Halloween gear, which contributed to provide an all American holiday experience. The assistant innkeeper, Samantha, was very accomodating and helpful. She gave...

The Inn is located within a short walk from Downtown Calistoga. If you like real Mexican food, try the Pacifico. The Chelsea Garden Inn is cozy, clean and comfortable. If you're looking for a 4 star accomodation, this isn't your place. If you're looking for a warm, cozy, friendly place to hang your hat for a few nights, then you'll...

We stayed here for three night while "doing wine country". It was charming. Loved all the landscaping. We stayed in the lavender room. Great to have both a sitting room and bedroom. Room was clean and well cared for. Only a block or two to downtown so it was easy to walk downtown for dinner. Staff was very accommodating. Breakfasts...

When I first came here this was the only hotel/bed and breakfast that had availability for October so I did not have high expectations. The are reasonably priced with cozy spacious rooms located in Calistoga. They also served breakfast in the morning with some sort of home cooked omelet or quiche along with fresh fruits, cereals, yogurt with the normal...
