The town of Cambria was just delightful. This motel was a perfect fit. The area was safe and pleasant. Staff were genuine and helpful. The room was basic, functional, spacious, clean and comfortable. We will return for the charm and enjoy the good value as a bonus.

Cambria is a beautiful town west of Paso Robles. The Creekside in was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly And took great care of our group. Thank you Creekside Inn. Great place to stay if you plan on going up HWY 1 for the best scenic views you will ever see.

Stopped at Cambria for one night to break our trip from Santa Barbara to Monterey. Booked one night at the Creekside Inn at a very reasonable rate. The rooms do need a bit of an update and freshening up, but we found ours clean and just fine for the night. The motel is really by a creek and we even... More

We liked the simplicity of this motel. It was clean and equipped with all that was necessary, and provided us with a basic breakfast. Cambria is a pleasant town, and several restaurants are within easy walking distance of the motel. The coast in this part of California is very beautiful and well-worth a visit.

When you arrive a little to late to pay a visit to nearby Hearst castle this is a good place to spend the night. Easy to reach, good clean rooms, enough parking space, reasonable price. Cambria itself is smaal but charming with plenty restaurants around

Visited on our trip south and would say adequate. We had our room upgraded and included a balcony which was very pleasant, and clean. My opinion of the room situation was that the soundproofing needs upgrading as the room above us left us in no doubt of the goings on of the couple in it during the night!!

Lets set things straight. This is a 2* motel, what do you expect...? The place was relatively clean, could do with a dusting. The TV worked fine, nice view of the creek, all furnishing were ok, beds were ok. I like a hard bed, so for me it was fine.. The price was good, at $31 a head you can't... More

Like staying at a flea market store. Couch was a 1960s throw back the couch cushion was actually a lawn chair mattress with tie downs and wasn't even close to matching the couch. Not one piece of comfortable furniture in the room. The mattress on the king bed needed to be replaced 15 years ago, so they just put a... More

The hotel was average. The beds are incredibly hard. They are very warn in and hard. You get what you pay for. Like I said, good for one night. Good walking distance to town, about a 7min walk. We did try Linn's restaurant which was delicious! Overall, the stay here was OK.

You can tell that at some point, about ten years ago, somebody cared about this place. The furnishings are quite nice, it's well designed and doesn't feel like a cheap motel. It's also dirty though, and worn and old. It has little to recommend it except the price. And the reception closes at 8pm, so good luck if anything happens.... More
