The hotel was nice and clean. The room was very nice, the fireplace a plus! It is a very calm and relaxing property. We did not try the spa, so I can't rate that. The bed was comfy, the staff friendly and the room was clean! Great time.

Guest staying in the room above us was EXTREMELY LOUD and oblivious to other guests. Children were screaming and moving furniture lat at night (11:00pm) while parents left them unattended for several hours alone in the room. Calls to the Front Desk were of little help as the noises stopped only intermittently Will more than likely not stay here, or...

Professional and friendly staff. Clean and neat. Good value with jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Far walk to downtown, beach a little closer but very short drive to either. Wi-Fi connection seemed slow at nighttime but we weren't there to surf on-line. Only disappointment was what I thought was a complimentary bottle of water cost $5! Overall I would definitely recommend...

Stayed in Cambria for 2 nights. Underground parking was helpful, since it rained most of the time we were here. Clean, well-appointed room with contemporary feel. The room was a little small but comfortable and the large tub & shower made up for it. Near Hwy 1 but very quiet. Very convenient to Moonstone Beach, Hearst Castle, elephant seal viewing...

Enjoyed our stay very much! Pros: Very nice staff. Everyone helpful and pleasant. Beautiful, small boutique hotel. Available spa area, very private with sauna and jacuzzi area. We enjoyed the jacuzzi! Wine bar in hotel. Secluded yet close to Cambria . Room is spacious and beautiful with cabinets and drawers that hide amenities like mini fridge. Giant flat screen TV...

Looking forward to returning back to this beautiful spot. Great staff, great location, and beautiful room. I highly recommend taking advantage of a massage while visiting. One of the best massages I ever received.

We stayed in a king room with a spa tub. There is a large opening between the tub & the room, but no way to close that opening when you're not using the tub. This made the bathroom very cold when taking a shower and is not all that private.

Thank you for choosing to stay at El Colibri Hotel & Spa and taking the time to provide a review. We appreciate your feedback. Your comments are very important to us. I have noted the issue with not having a curtain for the opening between the tub and the room and will discuss this with our design team. Kind Regards,...

Uncomfortable beds, too soft. Lights in the room did not have a central switch and we had to switch each light off manually. Food is very average, as does he food menu need TLC. Price: not worth $270.00 ex per night.

First off I think it's important to note that nearly all the Moonstone/Cambria hotels are the same. They are all older properties that have been remodeled (many) times over the years. That means that each has certain limitations & quirks because you're dealing with older hotels. None of these are high-end luxury properties- but who goes to Moonstone to stay...

Nicely furnished hotel, and the staff was helpful. I did not know it was so close to the highway. However, it was relatively quiet considering... The fireplace worked part of the time, the fan was jiggly, and the ac did not work at all. They did take a couple of charges off, since some of the above were not working....
