The Campbell Inn is a local institution, it’s been here forever. It is in a great location: close to many businesses and to the 17/880 on-ramps (on Hamilton), and just a few minutes walk to either The Pruneyard or downtown Campbell shopping & restaurant scenes. Running along the edge of the property is the lovely Los Gatos trail for walking,...

Nothing fancy, but the room was clean and had the essentials. Location is good if you want/need lower cost accommodation in the heart of Silicon Valley area. Free breakfast is on a par with those generally available as 'free'...but again, basic/straight forward. The pool area looks nice in the evening, probably not a bad place to sit with a glass...

My husband had rented the best room that this place had as a surprise for me on valentine's day. We arrived shortly after 7:00pm and checked in. when we pulled around to our room, the first thing we were hit with was the sound of a small dog barking and barking. My husband tells me that this place has a...

I've stayed here 3 times over the past year or so and just booked another trip for business. Location is great and from the little interaction I've had with staff - they were friendly. The pictures of the property show you what you'll get. It's far from luxury - the carpet does need to be replaced and the chairs etc...

I'm not sure what the deal is with the last several reviews. This hotel,is--yes--old. And yes the carpet really should be replaced. Some of the furniture is a bit shabby. But it is in a really great location, right next to downtown Campbell, it has a great free breakfast, and it is quite reasonably priced compared to others in the...

Honestly, places like this should have like -1 star rating. Carpet were so dirty that I had to tell them to perform a deep carpet cleaning. Linens were full of stains (including some red ones) hair all over the bathroom. What else can I say after that?. The place in general was so dirty, nasty and OLD that I don't...

Spent one night here last night without checking out reviews before booking. Carpet dirty and old. Furniture worn, soiled and old. Draperies tattered and furniture chipped and broken. If we wouldn't have been so tired we would of left and drove home. Decided to get up early and leave before even showering. Didn't want to use the bathrooms or the...

On business, tired and I check in to the worst hotel I've stayed at in years. Dirty carpets, holes in the easy chair, dirty arms and headrest on the easy chair plus a pile of dirt in the bathroom that wasn't scooped up. I complained and was told housekeeping was gone for the day. On top of that, it's a...

We've stayed at the Campbell Inn over the holidays for many years. It's been going downhill the past few years, but we stayed out of habit. No more. The carpet was filthy. Armoire was missing handles and the furniture was chipped and scarred. The beds sagged. The breakfast buffet was still good. It was the only thing that was. It's...

Stayed at the Campbell Inn (CI) week of 10/6/13, Sun and Mon nights for a family event. Had a room with two doubles for my wife, 10 yr old son and myself. The CI is an older property, but it is clean and overall well maintained. With my son we used the hot tub and pool both days and both...
