Tashi Namgay Resort is very convinient beacause of location next to the airport. But it is not the regular airport hotel at all ! Bungalows spread on the hill, no noise.A lot of flowers and good service.

Room was very comfortable and best of all we weren't woken up by dogs throughout the night. Breakfasts were tasty. Bed was certainly better than we expected. Staff were helpful and provided us with towels to take on our Trek. Very close to Paro airport but planes didn't disturb us.

after a long drive this resort is so well laid out.. beautiful architecture and lovely views of the city. being a resort there are many blocks well designed but lacking in professional service. perhaps the only disappointing part. food takes hours to reach your cottage and its cold by then. if u stay here then do ask for rooms in...

Hence, I take this opportunity to clarify our future guest that our property is intended primarily for vacationers and peace loving guest. Stayed at this hotel from 16th to 18th of April. Super riverfront location, great view of the valley and the airport from where you can view majestic and steep aircraft landings and take offs. We stayed in the riverfront rooms which had great view, were clean and had all modern amenities including heater. Staff was very humble and polite and...

We stayed there for last 2 days of our trip & our previous 2 hotels in Thimphu & Punakha provided us with much more better service than Tashi. When reached the resort we really got disappointed with the room. We are couples but they provided us a room with 2 single beds. When we enquired about this they said that...

This was the largest hotel we stayed at in Bhutan; I'd guess about 50 rooms and there were a couple of large tour groups staying at the hotel at the same time as us. Our arrival didn't start too well as the hotel managed to lose our suitcase at checkin, but it was recovered reasonably quickly although the staff really...

Nice, simple room with comfortable beds. The view on the valley is nice, you can have a look at the airport from there and appreciate the taking off and landing of these fantastic pilots! The dinner was really good, and the breakfast buffet plentiful.

After 2.5 weeks traveling in India and a glorious week in Bhutan we stayed our last two nights at this place. I do not recommend it, even after reading all the good reviews. Room 109 should never be used as it is right next to the employee locker and they are incredibly noisy. I asked them to please be quiet...

Dear Ms Beth, I am not surprised with your review, this is exactly what you've threaten us with. I agree on your allegation on noise, but there was nothing we could do as it was beyond our control, the least we could do was request other guest to keep control over their loud noise that too during the day time....

Great location, spacious rooms, friendly staff, prompt service & a choice of food for all ! The property is spread over a vast expanse & has a river adjoining which is a soothing sight , the airstrip is visible from the hotel & watching landings & take offs is a treat. A 2-3 night stay is the best option.
