Typical of mid-range Bhutanese hotels, this one is basic, but seems to meet the needs of travelers. The guest rooms are comfortable and clean. The bathroom seemed updated compared to other mid-range accommodations in which we stayed in Bhutan. The in-room Wi-Fi was fairly good. Food on their buffet was tasty, plentiful and simple. Laundry prices were reasonable. Hotel is...

A quite and friendly hotel. The food and beveridge was the best of our trip and the staff were very friendly and obliging. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Quick visits to theTa Dzong National Museum is a must as is the nearby Rinpung Dzong. The main town centre of Paro is close by and a great place to walk through...

Located just off the rear of the airport at Paro - you can see the runway! The rooms are mostly small and have a cosy but musty feel. Rooms are clean but feel used. The restaurant is poor with food being undercooked and tasting oily and spicy.

Most visitors to Bhutan arrive at Paro, and if they stay at the Tashi Phuntshok they will get a good idea of what to expect of the country and its hotels - a rather stark simplicity, a lot of wood panelling, staff in national costume, and very ordinary food. As against that, most of the rooms are pretty large and...

This was the last hotel I stayed at after 2 weeks travelling West and sampling all the tourist lunch stops and hotels this was the best food I had. The breakfast especially was amazing, pancakes, eggs, fruit etc all cooked and delivered to the table, not served in a buffet. Set me up well for my hike up to Tiger's...

Booked only because of a very early flight the next morning. Booking was smooth, by phone and confirmation email. I was called on the morning of my scheduled arrival and was pleased to be able to check-in mid morning. Being greeted with a cool towel and choice of welcome drink was a nice touch. I found the proximity to the...

We stayed two nights in this little place outside Paro. It is a bit far from the town at the edge of the Airport Runway. But, Paro is a one street town. Staff are very nice- like in almost all hotels in Bhutan. Food is very good. They gave us uppuma for breakfast. The rooms are huge. Staff insisted on...
