Stayed here for 3 nights to attend a family wedding . Loved the resort , its bhutanese architecture, delectable bhutanese food . The resort staffs were more than hospitable and very cordial. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The views from the balcony was scenic and very soothing to the eyes.

Great traditional architecture, super warm and friendly service. We stayed a week for a work meeting, and the food was consistently tasty and with a good variety. The internet connection however was not great, which was a bit of a problem for one of our conference calls. Bed rooms were spacious and surroundings pristine! The conference room is okay, but...

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Zhiwa Ling hotel. What drew us to this hotel was the beautiful Bhutanese architecture we saw from photos online. In person, the architecture is just as beautiful. The lobby cat was also a nice welcome bonus! The property is spread out, and rooms can be a bit of a walk from...

Zhiwa Ling is truely a beautiful place to stay with the wonderful Bhutanese architecture and the calming surrounding which allows one to meditate and rejuvenate ones soul. Located near the Tiger's nest we were able to spend more time bathing in the serenity. A place to be revisited.

Zhiwa Ling is a gem - you'll know once you enter the grounds that it's presence is not like many other hotels you've stayed at. Bhutan is a relatively small country with a more than ample charm...hotels like Zhiwa Ling give this hidden masterpiece of a land definition. The hotel is defined by its' architecture. The first sight you'll see...

You can't beat the character of the hotel. As our last hotel, we felt immersed in all that we loved about Bhutan. Take time to walk around the hotel and visit the temple upstairs. We had the opportunity to try our hand at making a butter sculpture with the monks. The hotels rooms were big, nicely decorated and cozy. One...

Just had a great, but short two night visit at this impressive hotel. The staff here were very helpful. We were put into a suite, which was quite impressive and more than sufficient for us. It was however a little cold. Regardless, the most remarkable thing about this hotel is the architecture, particularly in the main building. Zhiwa Ling is...

A lovely place - our trip made memorable by the lovely warm people. The rooms are nice and warm, the floors are heated, cozy sunlit corners and the food is great. It's such a lovely property. Away from the crowd and stretch your legs as much as you can inside the property, if you get too comfortable.

The room was a suite with all the amenities. The floor...

Envisioned and created by a local Bhutanese company, the hotel’s elaborate hand-carved wooden cornices and masterful stonework coexist beautifully with cutting-edge telecommunication systems and Swedish under-floor heating. The Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) announced the Tourist Accommodation classifications and Zhiwa Ling Hotel is the first and only wholly Bhutanese owned hotel to receive a 5 star rating. Zhiwa Ling Hotel is the only Bhutanese owned hotel and one of only two in the country to be ISO22000 certified. Set on 10 acres, Zhiwa Ling has many amenities available to guests. The spa offers all the facilities guests could want; a fitness centre, sauna, steam room as well as a traditional Bhutanese outdoor hot-stone bath.
