Monarch Cove is worth every penny spent on accommodations. From the fantastic ocean views (we stayed in the Ocean Mist Suite) to the Yummy breakfast, served right to your room. The walk to Capitola Villiage or even to Gail's Bakery is very handy. I have seen preprations for weddings being assembled and they look amazing. I won't stay anywhere else...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Loved the monarch grove! Easy walk to Capitola downtown, Management was gracious. Lovely continental breakfast. We would stay again and would recommend to friends (or anyone) who enjoy a period sort of place to stay - a bit of the Victorian style may put some folks off. We enjoyed it.

Amazing venue for a wedding. We'd love to come back just us. We were in the Victorian room and had a fantastic view. It was spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. The pillow-top mattress was especially nice. Loved walking into town and hearing waves crashing everywhere we went. Really special place. Only downside was our friend's room (the Holiday suite) smelled...

On a drive down the Pacific Coast Highway, staying somewhere different every night, the Monarch Cove Inn was our favourite place. Set on a cliff overlooking the sea, and a short walk down some steep steps to Capitola town, the Monarch Cove Inn is lovely to look at, with excellent views. We received a very warm welcome, and stayed in...

My sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our Capitola weekend, and the Monarch Cove was the perfect home base. The Inn's location is stunning--perched at the water's edge--and the grounds are tranquil and well manicured. Breakfast, delivered to our room, provided a great start to the day. It's an easy walk into the village and around town, so exploring on foot...

Fabulous spot with beautiful grounds and awesome view of bay. Great breakfast and helpful, friendly staff. Have breakfast on the grounds looking for wildlife in the bay. We didn't have view from our room but views from rooms on ocean side must be phenomenal.

My girlfriend and I needed a break, So i booked a weekend getaway. Oh my cheese, what a great place to relax and and chill. Stress free and the bathtub was amazing. The bed so comfortable and the round chair near the window was absolutely the best. Hearing the water crashing on the cliffs made it all worth it. We...

This place was just what we were looking for! Quiet with beautiful ocean views, nice and helpful staff. It is located within walking distance from town and the beach with the wharf. There is a steep stairway going up and down in that walk so some ages might prefer driving down. The whole walk took us about 10 minutes along...

Our 2nd time staying here for girls weekend and it was just lovely, Great location and friendly staff. The location is perfect as we can ditch our car and walk to beach or over to Gayles bakery. The continental breakfast was brought to our room and it was scrumptious!!! Wonderful pastries, bagels, yogurt and fruit parafait. Rooms are very quiet....
