This place is wonderful. Very peaceful and a beautiful setting. Lovely accommodations and great service. I would definitely stay here again. The website photos are an accurate portrayal of the Inn, grounds, and the room I had. We have been going to and staying in Santa Cruz for years as our son lives there. We always stayed in Santa Cruz...

We had an amazing quick getaway for rest and relaxation that was beyond our expectations. Our stay in the Ocean Mist Suite was absolutely perfect! We had views of the ocean in all rooms, including the bathroom. The rooms were so much larger than the pictures show and allowed the 4 of us to have more than enough space for...

I loved staying here the night before heading for Carmel Valley. We came from camping in Yosemite, and needless to say it was a great contrast. The sun was shining and I was standing forever soaking in the view. The house has so much exciting history, and I especially liked the thought of mafia boss Scarface Capone walking around the...

My sister and I stayed here for one night and loved it. We were in a cute room called the "Butterfly Room". The lady at the front desk was very sweet and walked us to our room. They even delivered our continental breakfast to our room at the time we chose. It was within walking distance to the popular shopping...

We decided to have our wedding here after visiting this place. We love the misty morning dew coming from the bay. It dries out during the day and is very sunny. The grounds are beautiful and all the rooms are quaint and well maintained.

“Good location in beautiful setting, terrible breakfast, very dated rooms” somebody wrote in July. Unfortunately, we have to second this. The setting in the garden is very charming, plus there are not many B&Bs or small inns beyond Santa Cruz. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but with dated ambiance. The breakfast is a disgrace. What's really upsetting is that...

We stayed in the Ocean Mist room - amazing views in the large bedroom. The room was quite large (2 bedrooms, 1 bath and 1 sitting room) and could easily accommodate ~5 people. The overall decor of the inn has likely not been updated in decades as the room felt like we were visiting grandmother's home. The next morning breakfast...

I cannot imagine a more wonderful and perfect setting for a wedding. First, the location is absolutely stunning! The grounds are kept as if they were an historic garden. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Perhaps most important, the staff were gracious, helpful and always available without being intrusive. I cannot say enough good things about this venue.

Went to visit my daughter and she suggested this Inn. What a wonderful place. The view of the Bay, the walking paths, the proximity to the charming village of Capitola enhanced my visit immeasurably. What a delightful, beautiful place, attentive, pleasant personnel and an all around wonderful experience. Can't wait to return.

The perfect getaway stay and great weather! Very charming rooms, great views of the ocean, breakfast was wonderful and the walk to Capitola beach was short and fun. Can't wait to return to Monarch Cove Inn.
