My sister and I stayed at the Carmel Garden Inn for 2 nights at the end of January and we cannot begin to express how fantastic it was. Julian and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make us feel at home and gave us numerous tips and recommendations for our time in Carmel. The inn itself...

We have seldom enjoyed two sisters stay with us as we all did with the two of you. Your energy just filled our dining room with happiness. We try hard to make staying with us a real experience with lots o stories and sharing experiences. Thank you for your praise and we all look forward to perhaps a return visit...

We love Carmel Garden Inn! We stay there 1-2 times/yr. Our 3 teenage children love staying there as well. Our daughters always leave with one of their recipes from the evening horderves or their delicious breakfast. The owners, Julian and Susan and staff Mary and Dennis are fabulous. Always have accurate restaurant and attraction reviews. walking distance to downtown, beach...

You give us such happiness when you and your family arrive throughout your stay. Thank you for that! And thank you for taking the time to write this review. We love to get to know our guests, especially those who, like you come frequently...it is like a large extended family. Finally, one of the best things for Susan and myself...

We recently spent the Christmas holiday in Carmel and stayed at the Carmel Garden Inn with our two puppies. Everything was superb! Julian was fascinating and his restaurant recommendations were right on target. A must stay if you are going to Carmel. The breakfasts they served were all very good.

I often reflect on my career, owning seventeen Inns since 1966, mostly in the Monterey Peninsula. It has been filled with adventures, problem solving, intrigue, surprises and lots of happiness. However, the Carmel Garden Inn stands alone, solitary in bringing me absolute joy... because of the wonderful guests we are so honored to have and attract. So thank you for...

We had a wonderful time staying in Carmel Garden Inn !!! Very nice and comfortable room with a real fire place, great location- just a couple of blocks from the Ocean Ave. with all the shops and restaurants, very friendly and helpful staff, and very good breakfast. I highly recommend this place and definitely would stay there again!

I got there worried because I was surprising my girlfriend and had just seen the place online. We arrived to a very friendly guy named Curtis at the front desk. He offered us free wine and cheese that was complimentary from 4-6. Then he took us to our room which was the best surprise ever. A beautiful room with patio...

Thank you for staying with us and your review. We stayed here for one night. This place is so cozy and homey. There are all kinds of beautiful flowers as you walk through the grounds. We walked into our room I got the feel of a warm and cozy little cottage. Had a wood burning fireplace, which you don't see anymore and a fluffy down bed. They also do...

We stayed at the Carmel Garden Inn for one night while visiting Carmel. It's cozy and a few blocks away from Ocean Ave, so is quiet. The room was very comfortable, and we had a great stay. Each room has a small patio that's surrounded by growing plants, and is very pretty.

We appreciate your praise and comments. We are approaching year four since purchasing the Inn and are delighted with the progress we have made with our rooms, gardens, food and wine. And to have so very many happy guests returning gives us a great gratification indeed. Thank you and see you again soon I hope, Julian

This is a great little inn just a short walk from the main area. Our room was cozy and well appointed with a fireplace all ready to go (we didn't take advantage). We have all heard the phrase 'location, location, location'. When we saw the Inn for sale in December 2012, we immediately recognized the value of its location. Nestled on the edge of the residential area of Carmel, yet only three blocks from the main street, Ocean Ave.; ideal...quiet, without many cars or visitors walking by some 12 or more hours...

They do a great job selling this place with the carefully taken pictures and descriptions. We had no major issues but wouldn't stay again. On the plus side, they are friendly. I didn't love the fact I had to check with them to see if they wanted to know dietary restrictions. Got a very fun "absolutely. We want you happy,...

We are very disappointed that your stay with us was problematic and not what you expected. Carmel has twenty six B&Bs and they vary greatly in style, food and beverages, décor, and staffing. At our Inn, we all try to make each and every guest feel comfortable and have a good quality stay with us. That we failed for you...

Our five patio suites have totally new bathrooms from basement to attic. All the patios are freshly painted. Our bistro dining rooms now serves a home made hot item changing each day for breakfast and we have added lemon bars, chocolate chip cookies right from the oven to our wine party. The wood for all ten fireplaces is seasoned pine and lights quickly, cracking with natural warmth to offset the summer foggy evenings in Carmel.
