This hotel has a great location and especially since it is connected to Il Fornaio restaurant. It was raining and cold so we never had to leave the building to dine. The decor seems like it may need some updating but it was still nice. We did not use the radiator and yet, the room was still warm (almost too...

A perfect historic hotel that fits the charming and unique atmosphere of Carmel. Old but elegant with hardly any of the "modern" technologies of larger hotels, but definitely matches the ambience of its surroundings. Everything you need to do is walking distance. Great place to relax and recharge. Breakfast and venue was great!

Our second stop on the way up the coast. In the heart of Carmel, easy enough to walk to everything. Found street parking easy enough, and due to their lot being sealed they were able to give us a pass to park until the next day. This is old Carmel charm. If you are looking for modern amenities, this is...

This is such a quaint little hotel and has an abundance of charm form the minute you walk through the door, from the richly decorated lobby to the victorian sense of decor in the rooms. Our room was very small but for one night, it didn't matter. There is no lift (elevator) but the concierge were more than happy to...

This place is rather frozen in time. Small rooms/bathrooms, no elevator or AC, decor that at times make you feel like you are in a bordello. But it is charming if you can overlook that, has the BEST location, particularly at this price, excellent full breakfast buffet that is free Mon-Fri, exceptionally clean, and, if you pay a little more,...

My husband and I stayed overnight recently just before Carmel's centennial weekend. We were celebrating birthdays and a wedding anniversary. The hotel is located near the foot of the main drag in Carmel - away from traffic and noise but immediately accessible for walking the town. Our room was on the second level facing the ocean; we were delighted to...

The Pine Inn is located on Ocean Ave, the main street in Carmel, and is perfectly located for sightseeing, shopping, and dining in Carmel without your car. The authentic décor ranges from quaint to early-20th-century fancy, but lacks amenities such as an elevator, air conditioning, and limited parking. The complimentary breakfast is not served on the weekends, but the Il...

Very pleasant hotel. Clean and in a central location with a visitor car park on a first come basis. Beds comfortable but note there isn't an elevator so if your on the top floor it can be a little bit of a struggle. There isn't air con but they do supply fans either ceiling fixed or free standing. If it...

Right in the center of everything. Close walk to a fantastic beach. Great Pizza too! Room was very comfortable and the hotel is well worth the limited parking that is typical of Carmel. We will be back!
