Inconsistent service, Reception Manager Elizabeth is arrogant and indifferent and seems to be more focused on putting on an aura of importance than step in to cover the shortfall of an imperfect system. I don't say this lightly, in fact I had a welcoming reception by Kathleen at the reception on arrival and she was ever-ready to give me a...

We stayed in a spacious king room with a fireplace. The room was very comfortable and the sheets on the bed were so soft and nice. Room is a little dated, but very clean. The complimentary fruit and pastry are great for getting out the door to one of the many great breakfast places nearby, but the coffee wasn't that...

We loved our stay at Carmel Lodge, the staff were fabulous, the only slight problem was we had to haul heavy luggage up a number of stairs - the bathroom was pretty tiny also. Location was fantastic, great to be able to leave the car at the hotel and wander the village. Very close also for an early start to...

Nice rooms great location near restaurants. Coffee maker and fridge would be great in room. Bed comfortable, interior a bit dated but clean and well kept. Many restaurants within walking distance. So overall we had a good stay.

Really enjoyed my stay at Carmel Lodge for 3 nights during April 2017. The staff were really friendly during arrival and departure, helped with maps and booking taxis too which was nice. Great location and good value for money. Fab stay!

I submitted already on last response, but Carmel Lodge is a perfect spot in the Carmel Village with a warm atmosphere and most, especially are wonderful, friendly staff! We will definitely be back soon. You all made our visit special and memorable. Thank you!! The Massey Family

I stay at Carmel Lodge several times a year. I've tried other places but keep coming back to this one. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there is ideal access to all my favorite restaurants -- Flying Fish Grill, Bouchee, Casanova, Grasings, Vesuvio's, and L'escargot.

The Carmel Lodge is a charmingly small venue situated in a wonderfully quaint town just blocks from the Pacific coast. The lodge is within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and the coast. The guest rooms at the lodge were small, but nice. Service was great! Breakfast brought to you every morning did not hurt either!
