Arrived in Carmel and pulled up to this up market motel/lodge. Free parking which was great and the location is right in the thick of everything - could not have asked for anything better. Rooms were a little bit more simple compared to the photos on the website, but pleasant nontheless (comfy beds). We did not have a fridge or... More

Although the furnishings were a bit dated. Carmel Lodge is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Carmel. The location is nearly perfect, right in the heart of the community and within easy walking distance to most everything. Room was cozy and comfortable and the continental breakfast delivered fresh to your door each morning at your appointed time was a... More

For a 3 star, my husband and I felt this was not up to standard. We are grateful they accommodated us for a last minute booking with our dog, but the actual quality of the place was poor. The bed was comfy but the pillows too thick - I slept on a jumper rolled up instead. The hotel was so... More

Ok so there are more flashy places to stay but for affordability in this great town, Carmel lodge is right up there. Rooms are clean and tidy, water hot and staff very helpful. Plenty of parking and a great location. We will be back to stay here. Breakfast is just a stop gap, but plenty of places in town for... More

Stayed here one night driving through .. Great little place. Our room was a great size - very clean and comfortable! Free parking and free breakfast ! They deliver it to your room, so we had breakfast in bed! Fab!! Loads of great restaurants within a couple of minutes walking distance! Would return again.

Carmel Lodge was very cute. The rooms are a decent size, and very clean. The beds are comfortable and overall very good quality. The location is perfect for exploring Carmel on foot. Overall a very good experience, first time for us and we will return when in Carmel. Recommended

The location was okay. The bedroom was quite small, barely enough room for two adults and two suitcases. The bathroom was very small and inconvenient. There was no shelf space in the bathroom and the shower was very very small. The continental breakfast delivered to our room came with half cup of coffee that was lukewarm.

The facility was clean and well located. The staff were efficient and accommodating. The hotel is a basic facility. Sufficient parking and clean. The room was average size and a little dated. The amenities were poor. The breakfast was a cup of coffee, a sweet roll and 3 strawberries per person on one day and then only 2 strawberries per... More

The Lodge may look very ordinary from outside in first glance, but the rooms have very soothing decor from inside. The rooms have all the facilities and nice toiletries. The mattresses were very comfortable. There is no air conditioning in the Lodge. The rooms have only heater. But you would probably won't need the cooling for night as the temperature... More
