Rancho Bernardo surpassed our high expectations for a relaxing and beautiful home-base during our visit to Yosemite. My husband, I, our 23 year old daughter, and my 89 year old (recently widowed) father stayed in the Guest House. The accommodations are sparkling clean, beautiful, comfortable, private. The nearby town has amazing restaurants! It was the warm (not intrusive) hospitality, interesting... More

We stayed at the "barn" room - very well decorated. The breakfast was wonderful and the hosts were a great company with exciting discussions at breakfast. The hosts built this ranch and house several years ago and did a wonderful job. Very nice and quiet place to relax.

I found this wonderful B&B on TripAdvisor. It was a little off the beaten path, but that's what I like. What a relaxing, soothing, and wonderous place. The room was everything that anyone could possibly ask for. The owners were a delight to visit with, and the breakfast was outstanding! I would lover to return over and over, it really doesn't... What more can we say but thank you to our Hosts Kathy and Barney. The most luxurious bed we've had so far and the accommodation is 5 star on a beautiful Ranch. The breakfast was beautiful with so much variety and every dietary need catered for. Good stop overs on the way to and from Yosemite. Cannot recommend highly enough... More

This November we had the opportunity to stay at Rancho Bernardo. Very nice environment and lovely room at the barn. Everything available and in the morning nice breakfast created by Kathleen. Very nice and friendly people, Kathleen and Barney. During the day we visited Yosemite and good location to travel back to San Francisco. Would certainly recommend a stay at... More

We stopped here for one night after 2 nights camping in Yosemite. I was looking for a comfortable, unique place for our family of 5 to stay. Most hotels in the area are either too expensive or of lackluster quality. I was so glad to have found Rancho Bernardo on trip advisor. It was perfect! The guest house sleeps 6--with... More

Stayed one night in the 2 bed apartment over the garage complete with pool table. Such lovely comfortable accommodation in a peaceful location well off the beaten track. Our hosts were delightful, very welcoming and full of amusing tales. Breakfast was a real treat - don't expect it to be a quick affair, you'll have to tear yourselves away! Remember... More

We stayed in the Barn Suite of the Rancho Bernardo B&B for 2 nights on our way to Yosemite, and it was great. An actual suite in the barn with horses in the stalls and just a short walk up to the main house where a big breakfast was served. Owners Kathy & Barney were so friendly and we felt... More

We had a lovely stay here at Rancho Bernardo. Ranch is great, but what really makes this place special is Kathy and Barney : ) ! They are the sweetest people you'll ever meet.
