Went to Quail Lodge for 2 days with friend; also brought with my dog Katy, completely enjoyed the stay.
The rooms are fine and economically priced, and the large Puppy Area is perfect for dog-owners. (Photo added)

You can walk to the lake if you want to take a nice walk. It's not a couple hundred yards to the lake. We rode our quads. The camp ground is not on the shore of the lake. Our RV site did not have a picnic table. They have a nice fire ring and tons of firewood. We had mature trees and grass at our pull thru site. I'm think you should be able to drive to a picnic area lake side.
