Very nice, quaint establishment. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Very clean and tidy. Good continental breakfast, located near ferry to San Diego, nice walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach. Beautiful pool courtyard area, free parking, leave your car, take the bus or shuttle. Debbie, Frisco

This place isn't terrible or awesome. It's got some really really great things and some really bad. My husband is in the navy and was leaving out of SD for a long deployment recently, and at the very last minute I decided to do the long trip down to see him off, but unfortunately, the normal place we stay, as...

As one writer already said, and I'll phrase it differently, when you have a busy schedule of activities in Coronado and mainly need the room to come back to for convenience, comfort and a decent rest. This one is great. We checked in early and got a room in the back where we'd been advised to seek anyway. It was...

If you are going to Coronado to hang out in your room and enjoy the amenities, this is probably not for you. If you are going to Coronado to play at the beach, eat in the restaurants and only need a place to sleep and shower, this place is great! We stayed 3 nights and had a terrific visit. The...

I agree with the prior review. I called the 800 number on the 7th and two more days just trying to cancel my reservation. It just rings and rings no body home. If they charge my card I will be disputing it with my credit card company. I have also tried a) a reply on the confirmation email they sent...

I have been calling for days and the hotel never answers their 800 number. Needed to cancel and could not get through. They are charging me for the night because I finally got through on the 619 toll number. What a rip off. We will never stay here again. It is unbelievable that people cannot work with you. Clearly an...

Stayed three nights for a quick getaway with my wife. The room was very clean but needs updating. Don't expect a Hilton it's far from that...very small shower could barely turn around, massive street noise in the morning. Had a large TV but just local channels were available with bad reception, free breakfast was basic old over ripe banana's and...

Stayed 4 nights for a Navy unit reunion. It was perfect for my needs. My room was in the section behind the pool, off the alley so no street noise. As mentioned, it is an old property but the grounds and rooms were well maintained and very clean. The room was small but had updated cabinets and the bathroom had...

My wife and I always stay here when we visit San Diego. The rates never change and are always the cheapest on the island. The property is old, but they keep it very clean and maintained. The staff is friendly. They have free breakfast every morning and a nice little pool. Great parking as well. Close to shops and the...

I'll be honest, nothing great but it did it's job. Our room was located near the alley so we didn't hear much noise from traffic but the walls are pretty thin and you can hear your neighbors conversations. Bed was comfortable. I liked the fact that the room had a small refrigerator and microwave, as well as a nice tv....
