Grand old hotel. Great location. A bit too crowded.. Rooms nice. Restaurants served above average food quality. BUT, were somewhat overpriced. Fitness center was more than adequate, with up to date equipment.

On a recent visit, it was the thing to do to have lunch at the "Del." The place was hopping with people of all sorts on a lovely SoCal day. Somehow paying $32 for their angus beef hamburger and fries - that's all - was a bit much. It was "a vacation event" but really...! And frankly the meal was...

This hotel masters old world charm! The largest wooden structure in the world, every room is different! The Crown room was an excellent venue for our Company's celebration! The pool bar and patio bar could've had better service as it seemed there wasn't enough servers for the patrons, but the front desk service was above and beyond any National chain...

My family stayed here while my husband attended the AOOS Orthopedist Conference. Let me start by saying the Hotel and the little town of Coronado are very charming with a lot of history. We booked a room for 4 nights and after a little help from Robert Orta at the front desk, we ended up in the main building with...

The Del was the first stop on a two-week trip for my husband and I around the West Coast. We had read the reviews that it was a bit tired, but decided to stay there anyway as it was the only hotel in the city, next to the ocean and within reasonable distance to most sightseeing and nightlife. We also...

This hotel is definitely worth the extra couple hundred dollars compared to the other hotels in San Diego. The hotel may be old, but it is up to date, and gives you an experience that you cannot find in other new hotels. When we booked the hotel, I let them know that I was planning to propose while staying in...

We had a great time at the Hotel del Coronado. It is an iconic and historic beach front hotel and one of the few surviving example of the wooden Victorian architectural genre! The Crown Room is a must see with its crown chandeliers designed by Wizard of Oz author Frank Baum. The place is majestic reflecting the glamour of South...

We stayed here for two nights during a Southern California trip. We booked two rooms in the Victorian Building. The rooms were well kept and spacious.
