Seriously, if the only option is valet, do not charge for it. I really loath when expensive, fancy 'resort' hotels charge for the stupidest stuff...like $35 to park PER DAY, $8 bottled water in the room, and the most ridiculous...the resort fee. The bed was clean, comfortable and I liked that the windows open. It had in-room coffee (which is...

I loved the location of this hotel within Dana Point. It's conveniently close to the harbor, restaurants, and places to walk that are amazing. We also visited the on-site bar and restaurant for tasty drinks. We were first given a room that didn't have a nice view overlooking a construction site, but we were given an ocean view when we...

It does offer a great view. Two pools, but neither are that larger so you are always very near others. Rooms are nice, but room fridge is packed full of items so you cannot use it for your own leftovers or drinks. Beds and shower great, but if you are only concerned with that you could get the same for...

Utter Disappointment. I was told that this property is rated an 8 of 9 on a scale of 1-9, by the reservations agent. This is absolutely not the truth. It is a worn, dirty hotel with outdated bathrooms and filthy carpet in common areas. I was also told at check-in that my room was being upgraded to an ocean view....

Ok, this is a little pricier than the mid-range hotels I usually stay at, but this was a bit of a splurge getaway anyhow, so why not? Rather large, well kept up property overlooking Lantern Bay Park and the ocean. You take a winding road up the hill, go between a couple of the resort's buildings, then pull up to...

Well this place was amazing, gym, meals, yoga, it had everything. I don't really think much more could be done. The service is great with fast valet, good service, and overall nice staff. I dropped a few things and three or four staff members came and helped me out. It was actually kind of embarrassing. Another time I was carrying...

Went there for a conference, facility and grounds are great. Pools, hot tubs, spacious lawns and yoga were on-site. It was chilly in March with the winds and the conference was set up for mostly outdoor dining so be prepared for cool weather, especially with the sun down. The Vue restaurant was good and bar/dinner entrees were reasonably priced considering...

My company recently hosted its annual user conference at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa. The property was gorgeous and meticulous, the scenery was beautiful, overlooking the Dana Point Harbor and Pacific Ocean. The staff were right on top of things at all time. The meals were delicious even for such a large crowd of people. The rooms were...

The Laguna Cliffs Marriott has amazing hospitality. Each staff person from the front desk, housekeeping to the fantastic valet guys who must run 20k steps a day, are friendly, caring and helpful. My college aged daughter and I stayed for week from March 12-18 (2017) and even extended our stay. But the most surprising and wonderful extension of hospitality came...

The hotel grounds over look the beautiful Dana Point coastline. The service in this hotel was poor from start to finish. It took multiple calls to get housekeeping to attend to our room. On the last day our room was never serviced. The room are adequate but nothing special and could use updating. Waitstaff in the restaurant do an adequate...
