We spent Memorial Day weekend at The Spring, and it far exceeded our expectations. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, the weather was wonderful and we had a fabulous time. We enjoyed all three of the hot springs pools, and had great spa treatments. It was the perfect getaway from cold San Francisco! We will...

Ocean or desert?!? That was my dilemma - I wanted to take a couple of days off before heading back to PA for work and couldn't decide between the beach or the desert. I settled on the desert for unexplainable reasons. As I pulled into the parking lot in front of The Spring, I wondered what I had gotten myself...

The Spring is everything you'd want it to be when in search of a beautiful, intimate, first-rate spa in southern California, at a price that won't break the bank. As many lucky Californians know, Desert Hot Springs has the absolute best mineral waters -- soft as velvet, without any odor whatsoever. The Springs brings you this precious natural resource in...

My sweetheart and I needed a BREAK from our work lives and headed out to the Spring in Desert Hot Springs, which I had been wanting to visit on suggestion from a good friend. Everything was absolutely immaculate--I need these people to come feng shui my house! The pools were heavenly. The breakfasts were small and delish, the sort of...

The Spring is the perfect spa. I've never been in a place that felt so instantly like home. The atmosphere is very tranquil and relaxing, and I felt completely at peace. The resort is beautifully designed, everything is elegant and comfortable. The rooms are clean and welcoming. The beds are absolutely amazing, like sleeping in linen-y clouds. And everything smells...

I love this place. I have been here a bunch of times. It seems to get better eah time. Quiet, intimate, stylish and comfortable, natural hot spring spas, pool and great massages. I don't need more than that. If you need no more than that, this is the place.

This was my 5th time here and once again I’m already looking forward to the next time. Each trip to the spa is a treat. Usually I come here with my husband. Last year I brought my mom for her 70th birthday and this time I took my 18 year old daughter. My spa “treatment” starts from the moment I...

We were treated with the utmost courtesy and kindness all the way from our first telephone inquiry through checkout. The staff is generous with time, service, and information. The rooms are clean, spacious, and uncluttered. Beautiful and very well groomed grounds are home to a variety bird life, palms, and flowers all of which enhance the total relaxation one gets...

What a wonderful spot to relax. I sleep like a baby in those great beds after a late night sauna. I've been here 2 or 3 times and each time I return there is some new and wonderful addition. This time I sat by the new outdoor fireplace enjoying breakfast and watching the sun rise. There is just something magical...

I'm surprised anyone ever writes about this place. it's the kind of place you want to keep for yourself. But alas, I must share. Quiet, beautiful and very restful. The staff is there if you want anything and they are always very helpful but never too intrusive or too chatty. The pools must be the magic. I always sleep like...
