The Good House is wedged in the Miracle Hill District, a protected Hot Water Zone on Desert Hot Springs.....that has deep therapeutic properties. My room spelled a simple, handsome, aesthetic with kitchenette and appreciated hammock on a secluded deck......a great place to hangout. The poolside kitchen at the resort pumps out a healthy menu consisting of items such as: mezza plates, chia power bowls and my favorite: pizza. Most of the food fare is tripped out with herbs and seasonings grown right on the property. The Good House Spa is a featured amenity of the property and sports facials, massages and customized wellness packages......... I opted for my go-to treatment: the Hot stone Massage. So, if you are looking for a hot water aquifer to soak in mineral springs.........then try the ..................The Good House................a house of pleasantries.

A perfect quiet weekend getaway. Highlight was hot natural water spa and very warm pool. In house chef made fantastic shakshuka and pancakes. Staff very nice and welcoming to our little guy “Chocolate the Terrible” who hung outside the kitchen door hoping for something delicious. Very pet friendly. Highly recommend.

The Good House was the perfect antidote to our cold, grey Oregon winter. Our overnight visit was restorative and relaxing. The environment is lush with just the right amount of laid back vibe. Mineral pools were clean and maintained at the perfect temperature. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Food was delicious and healthy. Seriously, I have zero complaints!

I attended Mindy’s birthday party at the Good House. The staff could not have been more accommodating. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The food was outstanding. If you need to take a break in your routine… this is your spot. Can’t wait to return!

We were greeted at the gate and given a tour of the beautiful grounds. The staff was friendly and the chef was especially good and very nice. I loved his healthy smoothies and how quickly he would make whatever was asked for. We had a banging screen on our window the first night but it as fixed as soon as we reported it the next day. I liked that the environment was peaceful. I do have a few suggestions: it would be nice to have coffee makers in the rooms and a selection of books on the bookshelves. I noticed also there are no pictures on the walls but all of these could be attributed to theft in the past. Also a small area rug to step onto when you get out of bed would ne nice before stepping onto the cold floors. One more thing, I like having a lamp to read by in bed within reach so it is not necessary to get out of bed to turn it off when ready to go to sleep. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and so close to Cabot's Pueblo Museum!

This was a lovely “boutique” hotel/inn with a wonderful hot springs-fed pool and hot tub. Friendly staff who were most accommodating. The location is convenient to “tour” the surrounding area and enjoy many outings. A wonderful, relaxing space to enjoy the Palm Springs/Desert Springs area.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Good House last weekend . It was one of the most relaxing vacations we've had. The hotel and amenities are set up perfectly, with little alcoves and places to encourage relaxation, like the sauna, fire pit, gazebo with day bed and of course the mineral springs hot tub and mineral springs pool. It's set up to feel like an oasis retreat. Somewhere you can go and forget about your responsibilities and obligations and just completely relax. The food was cooked with locally sourced ingredients and so was delicious! Van was an amazing chef, host and all around provider of all things we needed. So gracious! Van and All the staff really take care to make sure you're experience is enjoyable, while still leaving you to just relax. The rooms were simple, clean and comfortable. Ours had a kitchenette that was great for a little cooking. Although, mostly we ordered from the kitchen,, but it's great to have if you want to cook. This place is such a gem, I almost don't want to recommend it so that I can keep it quiet. Great small mom and pop establishment with amazing staff and treatment. I'll be back as soon as I can!

Once you enter Eliseo Road off the depression main roads, you feel like the desert has opened up and presented you with a beautiful, fresh green oasis. When the door opens to this small El Dorado, you feel like all your worries and problems fall off you like raindrops on a tin roof. The spa has a family feeling, especially with the welcoming staff and friendly guests. The cabins are small but modern and have everything you need. Will I come back? Definitely. And will I recommend it to my friends? You bet!

We enjoyed our stay at the Good House this past August. The property/rooms have been updated from our prior stays with new ownership. The tranquil stream/pond was lovely & the grounds were beautiful! The rooms were modernized & felt very clean. Much more comfortable environment, a nod to the new owners! Only minor problems were the bathroom window needs to be replaced with one that can be easier to open & close. Strange that was not updated in the room while everything else was? Also, they got rid of the wet sauna (where you pour water on to the rocks to make it hotter). We used to really enjoy that. Now it's just a dry sauna where they only want you to have temperature at a minimum, it was hotter outside than inside the sauna - sweat need not apply! Either way you can still crank it up while no one's looking, just be sure to turn it down before leaving (or JJ will get you) ;) Van is the excellent Chef onsite! Van's family recipes were made with love and the poolside cocktails were delicious! We will be back.... Thank you!

A hacienda experience with a hot spring fed pool and jacuzzi. Peaceful and comfortable cool rooms. Nice liitle touches, such as a euculiptis bunch hanging in the shower and a huge dispenser of infused spa water on the shady patio, make it a truly relaxing respite. We ordered the highly recommended "Good, Good" breakfast. It was s-o-o delicious and a really good value for room service. We are loyal visitors and can't wait to return.
