My husband and I wanted to find a place not too far out of L.A. where we could go for the weekend and completely relax in comfort. We found it! Hacienda Hot Springs is located in Desert Hot Springs, about 2 hours from L.A. The spa is located in a gated area and is absolutely beautiful. You walk in the...

We stayed with our dog at the Hacienda for two days, and really didn't want to leave! This was our third time there. The rooms are so comfortable, the linens are luxurious. We floated in the warm swimming pool surrounded by lush vegetation, and enjoyed the the spa's strong jets and therapeutic mineral water. Then we sat in our private...

Every single detail of this oasis has been lovingly thoughtfully attended to, and then to top it all off, to be able to soak in the healing waters at the perfect temperature made me feel like nothing could get any better! The owner and person responsible for this bliss was there and me and my mom were treated to his...

I recently took a trip to the Hacienda Hot Springs with my boyfriend who was visiting from Denmark. Unfortunately it was raining in the desert during our stay, but I can't imagine a more lovely place to be! The rooms are all very clean and cozy down to the last detail. Stocked with warm robes, great books, and nice teas......

Swimming in the delicious waters in the gracious and welcoming pool made all the difference in having to work in the desert in the middle of Summer. After a long day in the sun, entering the cool, perfectly styled rooms at the Hacienda Hot Springs was just right. Early evenings in the spa and late night swims were refreshing and...

The best place I ever stayed was the Lake Palace at Udiapur, India (40 years ago it was $5/night!) - Maharaja's harem, in the middle of a lake. Hacienda was almost as good. Incredible landscaping, shade, cool. Full moon hot tub and pool. Made from the heart, with the skill of local builders, not for profit. Caring, quite, private patios....

This place does magic for us! Working in a hotel myself all I aspire to is calm and tranquility, warm mineral waters, simple food and just doing...nothing! If you are looking for action, just do not go there, check in a large resort and enjoy chlorine and loud music with a bunch of bar flies... I go to the Hacienda...

Hacienda Hot Springs is the perfect getaway from the busy lives we tend to live these days. They have every amenity and have thought of everything you might need for a relaxing weekend. Love the craftsman style and sensibility and the outdoor communal kitchen is perfect for group meals. Don't pass up the morning homemade granola - incredible! I hope...

My partner and I have tried all of the spas/hotel in Desert Hot Springs and we keep coming back to Hacienda Hot Springs. It's absolutely charming, quiet, the staff (owner - Bill and manager - Lane) strike the right balance between accommodating and just leaving their guests to soak in the ambiance of Hacienda Hot Springs. The rooms are always...

My friend and I had a relaxing stay at this small beautifully landscaped well maintained and friendly inn. The hot pool, cool pool and traditional sauna were immaculate. Sinking into the hot mineral spa looking at the stars before bed was a luxury everyone should experience. The kitchenette was well equipped. Bring some groceries and don't leave or take the...
