Ideally located for a visit to Yosemite National Park and with the room balcony (for an extra cost) overlooking the dramatic Merced river, there is a lot going for this hotel. Paid Wifi only (10$ per 24 hours, note that there is no cellular reception in the area as in most of the park) is unfortunate.

I spent two nights here. The hotel is outside the national park but closer than the other hotels. It has a fairly good restaurant and kitchens in the rooms. The room had a nice patio by the river. Overall this is a good place but the furnishings seem very old and worn out. If the rooms were remodeled and redecorated...

We had to stay here because of a power outage in the Valley. We stayed in a river view room it has a gorgeous balcony setting. The Rooms are very clean and comfortable, perfect for an over night stay. Restaurant was also good and staff very friendly. Overall it's a great spot to sleep and head into the valley.

We stayed here on our way into the Majestic Grand. Great and convenient location. Long waits at restaurant for mediocre food (not any other places around). the pizza place on site was so crowded it took us 20 minute to place our order -- for a pizza which would have been better if they just put the sauce and the...

We stayed at this lodge for several nights last fall and enjoyed our stay very much. The sign marking the entrance to Yosemite is a short walk, so very close. we had a very comfortable room with various amenities such as fireplace, jacuzzi, multiple swimming pools, kitchenette, etc. We spent most of our time at the park and so did...

I searched many options, settled on YVL due to kitchenette, fridge and proximity to the park. I was so glad I did! I was really pleasantly surprised by the rushing river off the patio, what a great sound. The stove top and fridge helped me save a few bucks. I traveled early November, so I was really happy with the...

We stayed here for two nights for our first time to visit Yosemite park. This lodge is located 2min drive to the Yosemite park entrance sign. The place is very neat and have a few buildings. Our room is the furthest away from the check in building that has a big grocery and gift shop. There is an onsite restaurant...

We had arrived a bit early for check in and understandably were told the room needed more time to prepare. Once it was ready, we got our key and headed for the room. When we walked inside, we noticed how dark it was. There were two light bulbs that had gone out. Is this what they meant by preparing the...

The rudest management, dirty linen (we found used family planning in one of the beds), there are old, noisy machinery next to all the buildings that run 24/7 ruining the peace and quiet and the lodge is a long way from the park. Lots of hidden costs so you pay almost twice what is quoted. Would suggest staying IN the...

We stayed at Yosemite View Lodge for two nights. It is located outside of the National Park and so it is best to have a car if you intend to stay here. The rooms are quite dated but large, as is the bathroom. The room is equipped with a kitchenette (which includes a microwave, toaster, plates, cutlery). It is also...
