The location was great (less than 5 minutes to the park). We had a river view room and the view was beautiful. The rooms though are dark and could use some updating but overall not bad. They have a restaurant and pizza place onsite but we only had breakfast in the restaurant one day. I would have preferred not to...

Adequate facilities in a beautiful location. The room was spruced up but hasn't been deep cleaned in quite some time. A shortage of electronic keys limited our group to one key per room. But it's the closest hotel to the west entrance to the park and the rates were reasonable. We were there for the park. We only slept at...

The national park is spectacular. Shame the accommodation isn't of a similar standard. An hour to check in to eventually speak to someone who clearly didn't want to be there. Was booked for three nights but left after 2 and then embarked on a several month attempt to get a refund. AC not working, shower no working, carpet filthy and...

We booked a Mountain View Two Queen 6 months in advance, thinking we wont be spending lot of time in the room and save $80 over two days, compared to river view two queen. Arrived on the day of check-in around 4 pm. Person at the check-in desk allocated room 1004, which is the worst possible room in the entire...

The room is nothing special but it comes with a small kitchen. Wifi was $10 a night for two devices. The bathroom was fine. I found the gift shop to be interesting and they sold bottles of water for a fair price! The hotel backs up to the Merced river which was beautiful when we were there. It is the...

What a place. It was the most reasonable room close to Yosemite park. Pay the extra $20 for a stream side room. The clerk tried to charge us $30 and our friends were charged 20. So don't pay more. It's the only place to eat also. Dinner and lunch were ok, price wise, breckfast was crazy expensive. Take your own...

The room was clean. The mattress has had its day. But the kitchenette in the room is good. Restaurant on property is ok. A place to lay your head. It has a river behind the facility but unable to see from our room. Check in & out was painless. Not much else.

We took a 2 nite trip to Yosemite from Sacramento. Found this hotel online and chose it because it is the closest hotel outside of the park (3.9 miles). This is a large property with several buildings. Looking at the map after we got home, I was surprised to see they have 4 swimming pools, one of them indoor. Our...

This lodge is on the El Portal entrance to Yosemite National Park, two miles to the Park entrance. You can't be any closer to Yosemite Valley without being in the Park! Right on the Merced River; our room had a little patio with the river roaring by beneath us. Lodge has multiple pools and hot tubs, two restraints, and a...

We stayed at the Yosemite View Lodge during a tour of California. It has a good location near Yosemite Park. A good, simple property that was reasonably well kept. Breakfast was included for us and was OK. Pizza shop on the property is very good!!
