Ceder Lodge is a great little motel for the money. The room is clean and if they would just update their bedding, it would be wonderful. The pillows are tiny and the old fashioned bedspread need to be replaced. The bed was comfortable. They have an indoor pool and spa which was great to get into after we hiked and...

Enjoyed our stay in this lodge a lot. Gave us a whole new experience that we always see on tv, but can't get in Malaysia. My cousin and uncle love watching people fishing at the river across the street. My aunt and mom had a frenzy collecting the rosemary grown on the grounds. The distance did not bother us, as...

We stayed one night on our weekend trip to Yosemite. It's a little further than anticipated, especially driving back in the dark on the windy roads. At my speed, it's 30 minutes to the Valley and hiking. We didn't stay, but passed by the Yosemite View Lodge, which is probably 10 minutes closer to the park. The room is basic-coffee...

I got the room online for $72 which was a fabulous value for a huge clean room with two double beds. The bathroom was spotless and included a separate washroom and space for hanging clothes. The room was very quite and felt secure as it was my first time staying in a motel style accommodation. There was also an indoor...

Just to orient you - After leaving Mariposa, you'll find Cedar Lodge on the right side of the road, about 22 miles on, in the town of El Portal. It's literally at the roadside, you can't miss it, and is located 8 miles outside of the park. From the hotel to the actual toll gate of the park, it's about...

We stayed in November 2011 for 3 nights while exploring Yosemite. This is motel style accomodation and the rooms are a little dated but it depends on your expectations. The room was clean, spacious and warm (we were glad it warmed up as there was plenty of snow outside!). There was a pool and spa but we did not use...

Dirty, outdated and filled with bed bugs! I would never recommend this motel to anyone. It wasn't until the second night staying there that we saw bed bugs. We saw a number of them in the adolescent stage, which means it was a breeding ground, and filled with blood. . . because they had already bit us! I collected one...

We stayed here in November 2011 as part of a Virgin fly drive holiday. The room was comfortable and warm, and had a spa bath and separate shower. We stayed for three nights, and ate in the bar every night for convenience. There was a good range of beers, but the food menu was very limited. Breakfast was served in...

Stayed for 1 night whilst visiting Yosemite Park (as I'm sure that's why the majority of people stay here!) We were visiting from the UK, though staying with friends in San Jose so this place was recommended to us and was handy for the drive being on route 140 which we'd come on. Booked online ok a couple of days...

The room was comfortable, with the window open you can see & hear the Merced River. They have an indoor & outdoor pool, restaurant, bar, souvenir shop, and about 10 minutes away from Yosemite.
