Me and my girlfriend came to the Moonlight Inn for a relaxed weekend and for the opportunity for me to "pop the question." We had the time of our lives, arrived as boyfriend-girlfriend and left as engaged!!! I knew this place would do the trick!!! Thanks again Ann & Terry for a great weekend we will both never forget:-) Ted...

We staid at the Inn at moonlight Beach for a couple of nights in between a business trip to San Diego and our flight back to Europe. It was a great choice. Ann and Terry were friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable about the are and South Cal in general. Breakfast is outstanding and Ann even prepared us a very early...

Perfect setting for a relaxing stay in the midst of the North County beach scene. Hosts are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. They have done a masterful job on the landscaping surrounding the Inn with plenty of spots for sipping a drink, reading or a nap. On the first night of our stay we were rewarded with a full moon high...

My husband and i needed a quiet get away. The moonlight inn was a wonderful surprise. The inn was clean, furnished beautifully, the breakfast was fantastic , Ann and Terry are lovely people who attended to anything we needed. We loved the location because it was close to everything. Most of all we enjoyed long walks on the beach and...

Their website made a big deal about overlooking Moonlight Beach but failed to note the trains that were even closer - they ran all night. When we checked in, we stepped onto our beautiful little deck to admire the view and within seconds a train roared by.I told them they should've called themselves the Whistle Stop...they will probably tear out...

We regret that our guest’s experience was less that perfect – which is what we strive for it to be. We could not be more forthcoming about the trains. They’re mentioned prominently on the very first page of our website, namely: “Trains: Commuter train tracks are across the street from the Inn. Trains do come by. We like them. Learn...

The rooms are well furnished and very clean. Breakfast was very tasty with a variety of fresh fruit and homemade breads. Althouhg Ann and Teri warn everyone about the railroad passing by - no worries, a good nights sleep is hardly interupted. Walking distance to the beach and to a variety of (excellent) local restaurants is also an advantage. Sabine...

We returned to the Inn at Moonlight Beach and if possible it was even better the second time! For anyone who needs a vacation during which they can reduce their stress and seriously relax, this is the place. We stayed in the Penthouse and it was absolutely amazing. The food is incomparable. We woke each morning to sunshine, ocean air,...

The Inn at Moonlight Beach is a lovely B&B with friendly, accomodating owners. The property is very clean, and in a great loaction. There are trains nearby, but we adapted quickly. The breakfast is fresh, healthy and delicious. Not gourmet, but simple and delightful. Fresh baked goods, fresh fruit and coffee. The town is very cute. Nice beaches, numerous restaurants,...

We loved our one night stay at the Inn on Moonlight Beach. We were there celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary on a Tuesday. We loved being so close to the ocean...fresh air all night. The occasional sound of the train reminded me of home (Nebraska). We had such detailed email information from Terry since the beginning of our reservations (including...

I stayed at the inn for my 31st birthday and it was a wonderful experience. I received email correspondence with detailed information, and got quick responses to my questions beforehand. Upon arrival I was welcomed by the owners, shown to my room and felt comfortable to ask for help with anything if I needed it. It was a worthwhile investment...
