Booking for a room took 1week due to overwhelming response on email or by phone. Had to search high and low how to contact them.
Called KL HQ number and then need to request for things and unable to as I purposely want to celebrate my birthday there with my daughter. No slipper, bathrope and pillow, saying it’s cmco.

During check in, was attended by rude receptionist named quintes or something, a Chinese local lady. After asking her for her name, service attitude was better

No one take note on my birthday, never expect from a 5 star hotel I have stayed before. More like a 4 star hotel.

We have nothing to complain about room as it’s just 2of us. Views are unobstructed as my friend ask us to stay in the condo villa instead, more privacy

I wanted to dine in at roselle coffee house for dinner but daughter didn’t want, so had to order room service did. Fish and chips at rm 28 , I was expecting it to be cover in a plate, was shock it came in a paper bag, saying due to government don’t allow and etc etc.

Portion for fries are less, however I request for extra crispy fish, and it came extra crispy, not soggy. Kudos to a female room service lady waited for 15mins outside our room as we went for a short evening walk

Some lightning outside balcony need fixing and sink also. Maintenance need to check from time to time...

Also limit a room for number of pax during the record pandemic time. As I can see from my balcony with lot Malay family staying in a room with family of 4-6 pax.

Will I be back here any soon? Probably not... anytime soon. Occupancy are 100percent today 2 Aug however some staff did their best in answering calls either for housekeeping, room service or even reception. Calls are answered during non busy time.

This resort is my best choice even during Covid19 pandemic period, it is fully sanitized lobby, hotel rooms, private pool and private Turkey bath room. Further more stunning sea view and panorama view of building design.
The room is cosy and clean, private pool and private turkey bath room. we enjoyed family get together with cosy room and private pool ,private turkey steam room for all family members to have fun and shoot some underwater video and picture.
Very least interaction in public areas, easy to maintain social distancing and SOP.

Stayed in Lexus Hibiscus for 2 day in January 2020 and fell in love with this hotel, great room with a breathtaking view. Choose the Premium Pool Villa - Sea View and was not disappointed, seen pics of the rooms and doubted it was going to be as good as the pics, but I was wrong, it was even better in person.

Breakfast had a lot of options, enjoyed the food, room service available 24 hrs, great menu, cheaper if you eat at the Roselle restaurant, they also do take out if required.
Other restaurant available in the hotel, also great food available in the hibiscus walk area of the hotel. It’s also the cheapest place to eat in the hotel. £6/8 for egg fried rice and watermelon juice meal. There are also other restaurants in the main building, Chinese, Japanese etc.

Absolutely love the private swimming pools in each of the room, we also swam in the main swimming pool at night(empty all the time).
Note the pool is bigger than it seems in the pics, was pleasantly surprised when we got there and saw the size of the pool.

Everything looks new and beautiful marble interior in the toilet and shower.

Ask at reception for the closing times all the activities all the Restaurants and activities as the times change depending on the day of week.

I tried the jet skie for the first time and love it, very easy to control. £30/$40 for 15minutes.
Quad bikes were also fun and cheap at £10/$14 for 10 rounds of a course. Other water sports also available.

Just loved loved loved waking up to a view of the sunrise on top of the sea. Just wow, breathtaking view.

Just wished we’d stayed here for a week to really get the fuller experience. Wanted to venture out to the next town and areas to get experience the culture and food in the area but didn’t have the time.

Saying that this hotel has everything u need if u want to stay put.

Will definitely recommend and come again!

I’ll post more pics with the title ‘lexis hisicus best hotel ever’, check them out as it would let me post them here for some reason.

Perhaps its the time of the year but not value for money and left a lot to be desired.

1. Buggy waiting time was not great. Took up to half hour to arrive
2. Room service - food was okay, personnel serving us over the phone was rude and unhelpful.
3. Pool was ok but limited for dipping. The beach is not meant for swimming if the amount of rubbish one sees there is any indication.
4. Breakfast selection was limited with long queues if you arrive after 9am.
5. Room whilst big was sparse on the finishing touches one would expect of a hotel rated 5 stars. No dock or USB to charge phones (see item 6), wifi was also spotty.
6. Upon arrival, personnel checked items and removed extension cord meant to charge ipads and phones for the kids. When my SIL enquired how she was expected to charge the devices, the personnel bluntly informed her “fikirlah sendiri” i.e. not my problem. Whilst we understand that there are safety policies in place, one would expect those in the hospitality service to be trained in conveying the information.

In all, a trip I would sooner forget. Thankfully it was a short getaway so our misery was minimized.

Dear ida j, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review following your recent stay with us. We are terribly disappointed that your stay with us was less than acceptable and that you have a poor impression of us. Clearly, this is not what you or we had envisioned for your stay. Please accept our sincere apologies on behalf of our team. We will work hard to make each and every guest's stay special at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson especially during this difficult time. Please know that it was never our intention to delay the buggy service waiting time. The team was experiencing high traffic of guest movement and unfortunately, you were affected. We are very disappointed to learn of your experience with our staff, and we are currently investigating internally to find out the reasons behind this. Your comments are deeply concerning as our staff are usually praised for their professionalism, hospitality and friendliness. We are sincerely concern and apologise to you for the inconveniences you had encountered during your recent stay. Seemingly, it is highly unlikely that you wish to return but if you do, please do not hesitate to reach out to us if we can be of any assistance. Well, this is my 3rd visit to the resort. Finally, I’ve decided to pen my words, my thoughts for all my stays. It is indeed a very premium and relaxing holidays to me on each and every visit, due to its tranquility and serendipity. The furnishing, decoration and orchids displayed on the main lobby were just right to make us feel welcoming. The privacy, clean n cozy rooms in each pte pool villas makes the comfort out of our daily stress routine. I can comfortably jump onto the pte pool in the villa with my 2pc bikini and get a good sunbathing with no worries. The amazing view from the villa, sunrise reminds me of a good start for everyday, and the sunset telling me, ‘it is possible to end everyday beautifully.’ Nice food, comprehensive facilities n activities that is just right and cool for everyone. Holding up our wine glasses at the Sky Lite Bar with the amazing view of the resort and power vocal live band fully entertained and satisfying our nights out with joy, fun and laughter. Ushering New Year 2020, a grand stage by the beach, enchanting fireworks that fully lights up the sky, makes our party counting down a truly memorable moments with our loved ones. Most important of all of the above, team in the resort who has never failed to communicate with us, their cares, smiles, greetings. I would want to recognise your effort, Simon Tan, for you have lead a group of legendary team that makes them an asset to the resort(Lexis Hibiscus, Port Dickson), the family of your own. Well done and thank you for making our awesome stays, always!!!

Love,

We booked the sky pool villa ( 3 of us) and I am pregnant.

The room is good, bed is soft, pillows are comfortable, toilets are nice, mirrors are good.. Pool is good, sauna is good..

What made me disapponted are:

1) We ordered one x classic mojito(with alcohol) and one x virgin mojito(which told I am pregnant can't have alcohol. However, when served, the virgin mojito turned out to be classic mojito and yes = felt a bit uncomfortable and we immediately went back to room and I slept after that and I was okay. And the restaurant manager did not charge the bill. This is the first.

2) I ordered Caprize Pizza(which I hope I spelled correctly) at 10.55pm and pizza cake to room ecwcyl at 11.44pm, it is one hour delays and what is most disappointing = the pizza is hawaian pizza with pineapple which not suitable for pregnant woman thus I did not eat and my friends are eating. I was hungry and can't wait for another hour for pizza. The night I forced myself to sleep in hunger.

3) We booked 3 person, toiletries provided is for 2 person, and I need to call 2 times for housekeeping to send extra towel, swimming pool towel, brush, slipper etc..

In fact, was told this is the best resort on location and claimed 5 star hotel.

Services received = not equivalent.

Mistakenly served wrong drinks and foods will be the worst nightmare for pregnant woman.. This is the service I am refering to.. Rest are in fact = good.

With such negligencies on restaurant and room service and housekeepingc.. It is not what I am expecting. We stayed at room 1105 from 29 Feb to 1 March 2019.

In fact, if all these small mistakes can be avoided, this will be best getaway for me.

We stayed at Lexis Hibiscus from 20th to 24th Dec 2019 with 3 kids(5,3 and 1). First impression was although it was a busy period but staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us. We took many nice photos with the xmas deco. Check-in was smooth at the lighthouse and kids were excited that there was free jelly beans. We love the overwater villa (sea view) that we stayed in, the beds were comfy and the bathtub a luxury. The private pool was very small but the kids loved it and they love looking up into the sky at the planes that frequently flew by. Buffet breakfast was well organized and there was a good variety of tasty food. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks and biscuits.
Overall it was a lovely stay but for a few small points we thought were not up to standard. 1. Buggy, we waited up to 45mins in the morning peak hrs and there were many empty buggies going past us but did not stop even seeing we had 3 young kids getting impatient. However, the staff who drove us were always helpful and polite, even taking extra car of my 5 and 3yr olds who loved to sit in front. 2. Bedsheets and pillow covers had spots on them. 3. From the day we checked into the room, the television’s welcome screen had another person’s name and they did not change it throughout our 5 days there, its a simple thing to do to make the guests welcomed. It’s great there is a glass floor in the villa except we were all disappointed there was nothing to c other than murky water.

I just visited and was incredibly disappointed with everything except the room. This place is nowhere near being a 5* resort because the poor service, food and hygiene really lets it down.

The most positive thing is that the sea view room really is beautiful and spacious. It was great seeing the sea below through the bathroom floor and having a private pool. However our pool was very dirty - I found clumps of hair from the previous guests and bottle cap/dirt in the pool.

Appreciate it is MCO but we were given no warning that nearly all of the restaurants and all bars in the complex were closed which meant that only one restaurant was available with very basic food and limited choice.

We were told that we could order food/drinks to our room until we 10pm but when we ordered at 9pm we were told that everything was shut.

Getting through to anyone in reception or the restaurant required incredibly long waits and very unresponsive staff, which made it very difficult because the hotel is not next to many places to dine elsewhere. On the morning we were due to check out we waited for 1.5hours for a very basic breakfast with very low quality food. I was very shocked that this was being served here.

All in all I’m very happy my booking was for only 1 night and I would not be back here.

The room is magnificent, but it has to be so to be worth the wait. We came in July 2020 as Malaysia opened up after its MCO lockdown. So did the rest of Malaysia, it seemed on a Wednesday afternoon. Check in has 8 stations, but it took 2 hours (no exaggeration) of queuing to reach the desk in what looked more like a busy airport than a 5 star hotel reception. It was truly awful and there was not so much as an apology. I assume that this is normal, but it was my first, and hopefully last, experience of it in a hotel - and I stay in a lot of hotels for work and pleasure.

We had booked a really expensive room, despite cheap deals on others because we wanted to enjoy peaceful ocean views. For that, bizarrely, there is a fast track shuttle queue to get the buggy to your door, but no fast track to to get you to the check-in desk. Seriously: 2 hours!

It was disappointing that the hotel had not disclosed in advance that only 2 of its 25 f and b outlets were open, so our one night was enough in that sense and the food service was unbelievably slow, given that we were the only people there. The club lounge was closed, as were all the bars and most of the restaurants and shops. The constant excuse was “it’s because of the MCO,” but that was disappointing and not entirely true because other hotels have managed to reopen bars and restaurants; this decision was entirely down to the management of the resort and not a great one when thousands of paying guests were descending on it.

However, the room on the style was magnificent, spacious, had its own pool of course, a sea-view floor in the enormous bathroom and a ocean view window from the bath. This was actually worth waiting for.

I would avoid the rooms closer to shore. Many of them look at each other, not out to sea and the guests there seemed to be noisy, treating it as their personal bit of beach: not ideal neighbors if you want to get away from it all.

Book a room for 5 of us for 2 nights. Paid RM2,120 for the room. Extra guest charged RM50 per day for room without any extra benefit. No extra pillow, toiletries or tea. RM60 per day for breakfast that serve very basic foods which I think not worth paying RM60 for

Buggy service on the first day was awful! The driver didnt even help us with our luggage, just stand the and watch. Can you imagine travelling with toddlers, we have to handle our own luggage from the car (no porter) to our room.

My first impression of the room was spacious! Very comfy to accomodate 5 of us. Cleanliness can be improved, there's ant in the room. We book the room for 5 people but only 2 glass, cup, coffee & tea was served. My impression was that the room was not ready for us. Need to call housekeeping to provide for us. Thankfully their service is fast.

The only good thing about the room is we have our own private pool though we face other guest's room but since we check in on weekdays so the opposite room was empty. There's also disturbing smell from around the pool.

They have a lot of activities around the hotel but because of the pandemic situation, most of them was closed. So we stayed in our room & enjoy the pool all day.

Breakfast served is very basic. But they follow a very strict SOP & I felt very safe and confident. They serve our food which means I dont have to worry about other ppl touching it. Everyone in the cafe was so friendly and helpful.

Check out time is 11.00 am which I think too early. After breakfast we have to rush back and start packing. During check out, our buggy driver is happier & friendly ( different staff ). Of course he help with our luggage.

Overall it was okay but with the price paid I expected better service from the hotel.

Hi hakSh11, Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson is in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, therefore you will need to go through immigration at the Airport or at the Land Border (via Johor) if you travel via car/bus. The best way to get to Lexis Hibiscus is to take a quick 1 hour flight from Changi to KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport), and thereafter, take a car transfer (Grab -like Uber, Limo, Taxi) to the hotel. The trip on the road is approximately 1 hour 10 minutes. If you do decide to travel by land (car/bus) from Singapore to Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson, the entire ride may take 5-6 hours (with some rest stops). You can search for Golden Coach Singapore for available busses that drop guests off right at the hotel. Alternatively, please contact the hotel team for limousine booking assistance. Thank you!
