Stayed here for 2 nights. Room were spacious, comfy and most importantly clean. Concept of villas on the sea offers an experience that is fairly unique. Rooms also equipped with pool and sauna, which we utilised to the fullest.

An issue with the electronic door lock cropped up on the 2nd day. Reported it to reception as we headed for breakfast. Informed that it would be sorted by the time we finished breakfast. Unfortunately, after breakfast we were still unable to open our room door. Staff member Selvam met us and explained that the door had been inspected and expressed surprise that it was still not working. He proceeded to let us in with a master key then assured us that he would take care of the matter. He called 10 minutes later offering a room change which we naturally acceded to. The new room had a far superior unblocked panoramic view of the sea. Selvam also arranged for a fruit basket to be brought to our room.

Overall, I thought, what could have been a disastrous experience for a guest was instead turned into a very pleasant experience with minimal inconvenience through a display of personal responsibility and initiative from staff member Selvam. If the rest of the staff of this hotel continue to display such exemplary hospitality this hotel will continue to shine as a beacon of excellence amongst Malaysian hotels.

Room 413 Checked in at 3:30pm 18th Sept 2020
4pm realized that tv and phone having problem due to no internet connection.
Maintenance people only able to come at 5:30pm to fix it.
Then tv remote unable to use. Replacement unit came after 1/2 hr wait after call operator.

10:15 pm, room black out. Calling receptionist multiple times using my own phone (room phone unable to use due to black out).

Refer screen shot attached on call log. I wondering how many people working at night. 14 times called, only 4 times they answer my call.

Kids woke up from their sleep due to no air cond and start crying. after 1 hr waiting then your maintenance people only came and fix the issue. And he mention that he just 15 minutes arrived at work. From 1 hr waiting, your receptionist keep saying maintenance people on the way. Seriously piss off with this kind of attitude. Telling lies to your customer is the worst ever attitude that u guys need to fix.

I drove 3hr from my home to have a peaceful staycation with my family here. With this kind of experience. This is the worst hotel service i ever had in my entire life.

Wondering how this kind of big name hotel maintaining your place.

Check in and check out times are very inconvenient. Buffet times for dinner and breakfast are also very inconvenient.
Checked in at 3pm. That means we only have 4 hours to check in, short rest, unpack and do outdoor activities (swimming, beach) before dark at 7pm. We rushed to do everything.
Buffet dinner was 6.30-9.30pm. We got back to the room at 7pm. As a family of 2 adult and 3 children, we rushed to get ready for dinner after swimming at the beach, that took 1 hour. We got to the buffet at 8pm. Rushed again because buffet will finish by 9.30pm.
Next morning, we booked breakfast at 9.30am. The 8am session was fully booked. And who wants to have breakfast at 6.30am on a weekend? Rushed through breakfast because it was only 1 hour. Must finish by 10.30.
Then rushed back because we have to check out by 11.30am.
I did not feel like it’s a holiday. We were rushing to do everything. We are a family of 2 adult and 3 children. Everything takes longer time to do. 1 hour for meal, 1 hour to shower and perform prayers after beach and before dinner, that’s not enough time. I come home feeling more tired instead of well rested.
By the way, only one small tube of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel for a 4 person villa? We definitely have to bring our own toiletries rather than rely on hotel toiletries like other hotels.
But, kudos to their chef……delicious food. And kudos to their staff……very efficient. That’s why i give 3 stars.

Very quick check in process as we arrived at 5pm, within 10 mins we were on a buggy with our luggages to our room. Took the Panorama Sea View room and it was just perfect and spacious for 3 adults and 1 child.

Evening Cocktails at the Lighthouse was excellent! Free flow of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks plus light bites from 5pm-7pm for all Panaroma category rooms and above. Azwan and Suresh were really attentive and accommodating, made us feel at home and prepared everything they way we preferred. Had breakfast here too and had customised eggs and waffles.

The dipping pool in our room was reasonably sized and our 2 year old daughter spent a lot of time in it. I used the steam room and enjoyed it. Rooms were clean and smelt good. Nothing out of order and all amenities were in place so we were happy. The complimentary canned drinks and cookies were a nice touch.

To get a buggy, you need to dial the operator and general wait time was less than 5 mins if non peak period. If you're headed out for dinner or checking out, expect a 20 min wait during those peak times but it was still OK as u get to enjoy the view from your private pool and have a drink.

Nice breakfast buffet spread at Roselle, enjoyed the variety. Also had lunch here and I recommend the Singapore meehoon and satay. On Saturday nights, only buffet option is available at Roselle and Umi Japanese restaurants so unless you want to pay RM120 per person, you can take a short drive out for dinner. Room service is an option of you'd prefer ala carte, but wait time can take over an hour during peak. Most reasonable priced restaurants are within 10-15 mins drive towards town.

LexSpa was really good based on my wife and mother in law's feedback. Got them facial and signature massage. It was my wife's bday and they prepared a cake to cut too after their session. Very nicely prepared room, calming, clean and spacious.

Overall pleasant experience and my family wants to come here again.

Looking forward to coming again!

Only set meals offered for breakfast during Ramadan and only able to get 1 set or-else need to be charged. While our package included BUFFET breakfast.

Booked Premium Pool Villa, request for Seaview villa, but need extra charge of RM100/night. Request for late check out, RM200/hour.

Our room looks old and outdated as well, Lifebuoy has little damaged (Little crack and sharp) and injured our legs. Air-conditional not enough cold during the day.

However the bed and pillow is very comfortable. Room design is nice and comfortable as well.

Overall price is not capable with the experience.

The check in is great, no crowds problem. Good for family trip. Excellent!!! My family really enjoyed the private pool in the room, especially my young boy. However, it will be better to provide bicycles for each room instead of renting it.

All the staffs are very friendly and helpful except the one at the check-in counter. Buggy service is 24-hour and we can call Buggy from our room, without the need to go to Buggy station. The room is big, with a private, small pool and steam room. Surrounding is very relaxing and comfortable especially at night.

What can be improved are the cleanliness and maintenance. The cleanliness of pool, bath area compartments and towel can be further improved. The bath room hook was not there and we do not have a place to hang our clothes and towel. Got a switch already damaged and cannot be used. We not able to watch movies provided in the TV, it hung.

Booked executive pool villa got upgraded to premium pool villa. Stayed for 1 night.

In my humble opinion, if you would like to try water chalets with a bit privacy, the only type of villa you should choose is panarama pool villa (sea view) but it's super expensive. For all other water chalet villa types, almost for all villas, even you're having your own private pool, pedestrians or the villa opposite will see you swimming.

Alternatively, seems it's a good idea to choose sky pool villas up on the building tower block as rooms are adjacent but not opposite.

The villa we stayed was quite dated. Water and black mold stains were found in the bathroom. At least the sauna room could heat up though temperature could not be adjusted, and water heater worked very well.

The room was quite spacious and empty. Even it had 2 king-sized beds, which could accomodate at least 4 adults, only one chair found in the room. You can still put a table tennis table in the room.

Most of the staff members during check-in and in the lobby area were not enthusiastic. They were not impolite but they were just working without passion that to me could be improved as it's indeed an expensive hotel.

The most enjoyable moments were in Roselle coffee house. All the staff members there were polite and showing their professionalism especially manager Azwan. Price in Roselle and the cafe next door were quite reasonable. Dinner and buffet breakfast in Roselle were satisfying.

Beach was not really a good one but at least there's one.

Buggy service was frequent and convenient.

In short, expensive room stay, may consider gathering more people to share room price.

Hibiscus Lexis has the audacity to label themselves as a 5 star hotel. I stayed for one night on the 3rd of January 2022. First, the check in is only at 3 pm and check out at 11 am. If youre planning to extend beyond that, itll cost you around RM 200 per hour. The lobby looks cheap, in fact the whole infrastructure look cheap and run down. Not even comparable to a 4-5 star hotel. The receptionist was super unfriendly and untrained. No information whatsoever about the hotel was given to me. I tried communicating with them via the whatsapp number theyve given to me but still they were so not helpful and took hours only to reply to me. The wait staff was so rude, even called me 'adik' and only use his finger to instruct me of where to go . Literally this hotel hospitality is the worst i have seen. After i was given my access cardto the room, I had to take the buggy as the rooms are quite widespread. The buggy driver didnt even helped to put our luggages into the buggy. My elderly mom and myself had to do it while he just stand there watching. When we reached the room , it was completely undone, rubbish was everywhere and sheets was still on the floor. We had to go back to the lobby which luckily the buggy driver kindly drove us back to exchange room.
As I wasnt given any information at all about the hotel, i only knew that night that i had to book a slot for breakfast . I had to walk all the way to the coffee house to book a slot and only left with 6.30am - 7.30 am slot. Imagine you have two childrens with you and expect them to wake up that early on a vacation for one hour breakfast? . I also was very unsatisfied with booking.com as i precisely booked for 4 adults to stay with breakfasts but i only realised that night they only provided me with 2 person breakfast. So, I had to spend more money on this not even worth stay. During breakfast, the cups were almost all stained and selections were very poor for a '5 star hotel'. Again, this hotel is a complete scam and not worth it. I only got a few leaves in a year and i regretted to have spent it here. The only great thing about this hotel is probably the staff who were in charge of the water sports.

Rm2k for two nights and getting people checking my bags, my small radio was taken, can't go to the main building to see the view and scared getting hit by the buggies which were too fast driving all the time was not worth at all.

The radio is battery operated and it wasn't stated in the rules there that we can't bring radio, but still they took it.

Staffs mostly weren't friendly, only some are good. The buggies really bothers me. Seen few times the elderly and children were alerted by their family while they were walking not to be knocked by the buggies. So stressful being there where you should actually be spending fun and relaxing time.

The rooms, TV control and pool were ok, although we found the rubbish from the previous occupants in the sauna room.

Foods and staff at the Roselle cafe like Jivan and others were very nice. Breakfast are amazingly delicious. Good selection too.

Since the playground area were closed. Those who wants to go to the beach need to make the whole round covering the main building. Instead off using the normal route which is bypassing through the playground area. Not a visitor friendly rules at all.

Will I come back again? I don't think so.

Hi hakSh11, Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson is in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, therefore you will need to go through immigration at the Airport or at the Land Border (via Johor) if you travel via car/bus. The best way to get to Lexis Hibiscus is to take a quick 1 hour flight from Changi to KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport), and thereafter, take a car transfer (Grab -like Uber, Limo, Taxi) to the hotel. The trip on the road is approximately 1 hour 10 minutes. If you do decide to travel by land (car/bus) from Singapore to Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson, the entire ride may take 5-6 hours (with some rest stops). You can search for Golden Coach Singapore for available busses that drop guests off right at the hotel. Alternatively, please contact the hotel team for limousine booking assistance. Thank you!
