The recently renovated Valley Inn off the Olive exit in Fresno is clean quiet and affordably priced. On what used to be the premier motel row in Fresno the Valley Inn and the other motels on the block are rapidly being brought back to their former life. Fresno's main attraction, the Roeding Park and Chaffee Zoo complex, is within walking...

I can't say that we had bad experience at the Valley Inn, as the room was very clean, fridge, microwave and AC were all functioning. The staff was quite ok, in contrast to what some other guests experienced. I guess, the thing that made me uncomfortable at this motel was the surroundings, with all the dealers, hookers and the homelesses....

We had a rat in our room (really). We spent there about 3 hours and run away. There are "special woman", drug dealers, homeless and other really scared persons all over this motel. Do not use this motel! Ever! My boyfriend told the recepcionist about the rat, without any reaction!! No sorry,no money back, just bye.

Me, my wife and my little kid spent a night in this motel in early November on a California road trip reaching there after crossing Sequoia and King Canyon. We chose it based on the price of 40$ ;that was quite tempting; and the overall rankings of Booking.com. I ignored TripAdvisor and once again I got punished with what I...

Decided we needed a get away yesterday and got a room here. I'm a stickler when it comes to motels but we got the room for 40.00 tax included. No pool and the ac took a while to fully work property but it did finally cool the room down. Front desk was a little rude when I called for a...

My boyfriend and I had planned on staying at the valley inn for two nights, I prepaid $90 for the stay, which I thought was a bit steep considering the place, the night shift employees were very friendly,I will give them that. The room was small, smelly, and the bathroom had what looked to be blood stains covering the bathroom floor, the heater did not...

I was in Fresno for 3 days for business, I'm really on budget due to my work being commission based. When I arrived the front desk staff were friendly and courteous. I was in & out of the office in about 10 minutes, much appreciated after driving for 5 hours. Room was on the second floor and an elevator is...

If you're like me, a non-picky traveler who wants an inexpensive room that's comfortable, clean, safe and quiet, then the Valley Inn is for you. It's conveniently located off SR99, so gas stations and restaurants are nearby. I've stayed here a few times while on my way up to Yosemite and the High Sierras and have never had any problems....

Though I can say nothing bad in particular, I can not also say anything good about this place. The room is not dirty, but extremely smelly - with cleaners and old carpet. I found 2 black hairs - one on the pillow, another on the towel in bathroom, which was quite unpleasant. In general area seems unsafe, and I did...
