This is our third time staying at Olea. The rooms are beautiful, modern and have great amenities such as wonderful soaps and plush robes. You are greeted warmly and there is wine, coffee, tea, water offered in the lobby most of the time. However, the REAL reason we continue to come back is because of the amazing breakfasts cooked by the tremendously talented Indica. She always amazes us with her creative, yet simple, fare. There is a sweet and a savory dish and it always makes us ask, why didn’t I think to put that together? It is always the perfect amount to start your day. Indica is talented and humble, but that doesn’t stop me from telling her how much I love her food and to beg her to write a cookbook. We will be back again for the rooms, the robes and especially the incredible breakfasts.

This hotel is located on a beautiful property. The staff seems committed to providing genuine guest services. The breakfast, which is included in the room rate , is outstanding. The pool and hot tub area are open 24 hours and stocked with towels, filtered drinking water and bathroom facilities. All areas of the property are extremely clean and well maintained. There is a terrific Village Market very close.

We absolutely loved Olea Hotel. A perfect mix: personal, intimate, yet luxurious and secluded. A plus is that the hotel is within walking distance of the Michelin starred "Glen Ellen Star" and several other great restaurants and shops in the area.

The most charming find! Loved this place. The rooms were modern and really comfortable. The outdoor area provided opportunities for comfortable, warm gatherings with our friends — and felt like we were in a really pretty backyard. The staff was incredibly friendly and treated us like family. I would stay here again if in the area!

This is an absolute gem of a hotel. We arrived late at night after a 12 hour flight to SFO and 1.5 hour drive from San Francisco to find a beautiful property with friendly staff and very comfortable beds and pillows. We arrived late, and the staff proactively reached out to make sure we would be able to find our keys and room. I chose the hotel based on its location and its reputation for having the best breakfast in the area, and it certainly lived up to that. We only stayed here one night before continuing on, but we wished we'd stayed here for the whole trip!

Absolutely amazing, cannot fault the Olea! Highly recommend. The rooms are beautiful and super comfy, the beds are huge! Loved the in room snacks too. Great toiletries with lovely make up remover wipes! The grounds kept immaculate and loved the seating, especially the firepit area. The garden part is great - we saw hummingbirds and a deer which came down a few times to drink from the water fountain. The staff were just incredible and the service perfect. They helped us out with some plates/ cutlery when we had bought some food from the market and ate by the firepit (no restaurant on site). Great recommendations for dinner - The Fig Cafe - when we ate out, and local walks/ things to do. Although we ended up spending a lot of time by the pool as super comfy. Being able to pop up and get wine and snacks to laze by the pool was great. As mentioned previously, breakfast is just delicious! The 2 courses were perfect everyday. We ate both outside and inside and was just great to set you up for the day. The local wine (red/white/rose) and snacks in the entrance is such a lovely touch and are absolutely delicious. Glen Ellen itself is super cute and would highly recommend. Lots of vineyards around - doesn't need to be 'Sonoma central'. There are a few cafe's & restaurants and a great local market - within walking distance of the hotel (approx 0.5mile). The staff even gave us torches to walk back after dinner one evening. Cannot fault it, had the most perfect stay at the end of our wedding/ honeymoon in the USA!

What a lovely place for a visit to the wine country. The Olea is just a gem, the rooms are so comfy and have everything you need, including complimentary snacks. As others have mentioned, the breakfast is fantastic! Staff were awesome as well and so welcoming of our dog who seemed to enjoy the Olea as much as we did. She even slept better on their dog bed!

This delightful boutique hotel in Glen Ellen has it all. It is intimate and luxurious. The restoration and expansion of this historic property was carefully and professionally done. The rooms are beautiful. The pool, hot tub and pool area are delightful. The outdoor lounging spaces are fantastic. The staff is terrific. The breakfasts are delicious. The afternoon wine and snacks are wonderful. We will return again and again (we've already returned once since our original visit in November 2022), and recommend Olea very highly.

Really really great experience. Every aspect of the hotel stay exceeded expectations. This hotel does all the small things right - great service, rooms are nice, pool is heated and pool area is clean, and the grounds (fire pit, other sitting areas) very relaxing. Nothing is too fancy, but nothing feels cheap either. A great deal and value for what you pay for. Would definitely stay here again.
