This is a fantastic motel nestled in the woods. It is quiet. Comfortable beds with everything you need; good shower, fridge, coffee pot and microwave, in the room. The proprietor, Bink, does an excellent job of providing local information and suggestions to allowing all the privacy you need. Walking distance to quaint Greenville with a pharmacy, grocery store and a...

The appeal of The Hideaway is in the beauty of the outdoors surrounding it, the carefully maintained grounds and the hospitality of owner Bink. It is not a sterile, contemporary motel — rather, it's a cozy, clean and friendly hideaway. Many will fall in love with the laid-back, natural beauty of Greenville after staying here.

We are bicycle touring the northwest staying in these small motels. After reading the reviews we expected a room that was at the very least clean. We don't need fancy. Unfortunately, this room is disgusting on too many levels to list. Normally I would list the positives and negatives for a motel room. For our room, the only positives were...

The Hideaway Motel reminds me of my days at the bungalow colonies in the Catskills. The room was clean, the carpet, window curtains, and bath were immaculate. The place is old but the owner has taken great pains and great pride in turning it a very nice, comfortable, pleasant waypoint. Good internet connection; no ice machine. Drive a few miles...

It was late on our way to Tahoe city and I found this motel on tripadvisor with good review. I called the gentleman and stating we are a couple and he asked if we want one bed or two, I thought he meant a room with one bed or a room with two bed, so I said one is fine....

The two of us have had our socks charmed off! Bink, the owner, has delighted us with his love of this area and the history of his special hotel. We both wished we had more days here. The room is extremely clean and tidy and Bink has preserved much of the original decor. The grounds are beautiful. We love our...

The hideaway motel is clean, cute, and the staff are wonderful. The price is good for such a great little place. You can tell that the owner takes pride in this motel, and it shows. If you come in late they will turn the lights on for you before you arrive. The owner lives on the property, and will make...

At short notice, I found myself sent to the small mountain town of Greenville for business. On the outskirts of this charming community is the equally as charming Hideaway Motel. Staying in room #3, I had a great night's sleep in a quiet and clean room. The place is a bit outdated (The room had Dish Network, but no HDTV)...
