The place is awesome, great views and Norberto that will welcomw you with his wife is such kind and available. That was great stay. But you need 4x4 to get there without doubt and there is about 7km of track to go. So better arrive early or call norberto to be picked up.
As a marketing manager from my company I always try to know the best places to recommend to my clients and friends, that is why I had the chance to met the owner of a new and unique hotel Carles a nice guy from Barcelona. He decide to established in a paradisiac place in the middle of the mountains in the Costa Rica South Pacific. The best way to arrive to Sortisomnis is in a SUV 4x4. the drive to the hotel is nice and wild but when you arrive to your room and see the landscape you will be exited, The offer spas services so don´t forget to the time and enjoy it.
We would not have found this place, had we not taken the canopy tour (located up the hill and right around the corner). We just happened on it because my husband noticed it was a nice spa. It is very small and you would miss it if you didn't have a good eye for great finds. We almost missed the opportunity for the ultimate ad hoc experience. The beautiful hostess made us fresh melon juice, showed us around and pointed to where we can go eat before our massage. We walked up the hill to the restaurant and bar and walked back to get our massage. She had a truck for driving her guests to and from if walking is not their forte. This place and the people (associated with it) put the WOW in our Costa Rican tour!!! We could have spent the whole day eating, hiking, touring and chatting with the locals had we found it sooner. P.s. Calling an hour in advance is a must.…
