This is a beautuful B and B run by Joe who is extemely friendly and cooks a mean breakfast. We arrived in to a very warm welcome and the room was beautiful with a huge bathroom with tub and shower. Joe was able to give us great tips on what to see and do in Yosemite, the entrance of which... More

(*This is a good thing.) At every other B&B in which I’ve stayed, some degree of “hotel-ness” prevails, be it a registration desk at the front entrance or distinct area for guest rooms. These things would remind me that, even though I was staying in someone’s home, the place is a business. Not so at the Cub Inn. You walk... More

Actually stayed here in July 2010 with my family of four. The Cub Inn is a large log cabin in the middle of the woods a few minutes drive from Groveland. It has three gust rooms, the largest of which can be adapted for a family of four. Now, if you are looking for five star service and comfort, then... More

My brother and I stayed at the Cub Inn last August and had a great time. We were looking for a place to stay relatively close to Yosemite (everything within Yosemite was completely booked) and we came across the Cub Inn in Groveland. We had never stayed at a bed & breakfast before, and could not have asked for a... More

My husband and I chose this inn based on the reviews on Tripadvisor, which we trust for accurate and honest reviews and we were so glad we found this place! We were on a road trip - drove from San Francisco and arrived at night. The inn might be a little difficult to find at night (it's very dark for... More

We stayed one night at the inn it was very clean and only 30 min away from the enterance of the park. Joe was a delight to meet and breakfast was great. We wish we had more time to spend at the inn. Its great value for the money.

We stayed there 3 nights when visiting Yosemite park. The house is really nice with wood everywhere and great views of the surounding forest. It is a good place to stay if you are vsiting yosemite park which is a 1h-1h30 drive. And joe made us some delicious waffles... which is also another good reason to go there! We would... More

We can't recommend The Cub Inn highly enough- we chose to stay for part of our honeymoon and weren't disappointed. Set in a tranquil location you will get a warm welcome from the hosts Joe and Char. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and Joe's breakfasts are wonderful. It was nice to be able to sit and chat with Joe... More

My husband & I brought our 2 teen grandchildren in Sept, 2010 on our way from Hetch Hetchy to Yosemite. We got lost because out GPS unit had the wrong coordinates but we found it. Our host waited up for us and was so cordially welcoming. We had nice warm showers and a great night's sleep. We came downstairs to... More

Joe and Charleen provided us a perfect stay in their log home. They were very generous in all aspects of our trip: advice in Yosemite, help with driving (including snow cables), wildlife viewing, dining, and whatever else came up. Their policy of "mi casa es su casa" is for real. Side note: winter in Yosemite is well worth it with... More
