This was our third visit, for which we received a very generous discount. We luxuriated in a large, high-ceilinged, second floor room (#202) with a large, marvelously ugly queen bed, gas fireplace, comfortable couch, table, and sitting chairs. Small but adequate bath with claw-tub/shower. This is a "character" place with a superb museum-level collection of uniquely hideous late 1800's period furniture...

Madrona Manor was first opened as an inn in the early 1980's. It has continued in business since then, through different sets of owners. It is an upmarket inn, with all rooms decorated in Victorian style. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served as a buffet in the morning room. It is impeccably maintained and constantly being...

We had my daughter's wedding here last week-end and if there were more than 5 stars I would give it to this hotel. It is charming and romantic and so beautiful. The staff is so helpful, the food is divine, and honestly you feel like you are in heaven.

We stayed here for 2 nites in the Carriage House (rm. 400.) A nice comfy suite with a fireplace & soaking tub. We were very comfortable. There is also a day bed in the front room. But the master bed is super nice.

My wife and I stayed in the Garden Cottage for two nights over MLK weekend and found the entire experience delightful. The cottage has a living area with two large comfy upholstered chairs facing each other next to an operating fireplace (with real fire, no gas logs here). Plus a bedroom with a king sized bed and a sizable dresser....

I would recommend this tour to everyone - we had such a great time and our guide was very knowledgeable. I would not stay again at the Madrona Manor - room was very small and bathroom not convenient. No TV, no internet service in room - dark and dismal decor.

My wife and I had the Dickensian Christmas Dinner, complete with singers, on Christmas Day. We should have realized that something was wrong when the lady at the front desk didn't even look up at us when she barked, "name of reservation?" That was the beginning of an extremely tedious evening where none of the waitstaff even smiled. All they...

Restaurant: We went on an evening over the Christmas holiday when they had the Dickens carolers, so it was a special event at the restaurant. Dinner was scheduled to begin at 6:30 so we arrived at 6:15 so we could first enjoy a cocktail. We were taken to the bar and told we had 15 minutes until we would be...

Beautiful comfortable rooms but don't stay on a Monday or Tuesday if you want coffee, tea, or anything else to drink other than water. Bar does not open on those days. No facility to get a hot drink after 11am in the lounge, and no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. We asked the receptionist about how to...
