This was my first time visiting Alberta and staying overnight. My main goal was to visit another ranch near Three Hills where my paternal grandpa worked 100 years ago, so when looking online I discovered this spot. We weren't disappointed. It's no longer a B & B; breakfast was difficult to find as businesses in the small town of Trochu...

We stayed here for two nights while visiting the Three Hills, AB area where my wife's family lived. The hotel is an amazing, cozy, rustic experience. The sound of their three horses in the field, owls hooting outside the window in the late evening were a delight. We also saw two moose running through the yard as we were there....

Quaint place with lots of history and very friendly hosts, Good food, good atmosphere, charming accomodations. Was on a "fun" business trip and was made to feel part of the family. Loved the very friendly "mouser" Flora. Lots of things to do and see just strolling around the grounds.

Norma, from Victoria BC St. Ann Ranch is beautiful, tranquil, welcoming, and a bargain to boot. We stumbled across its website while looking for something else and thought we’d give it a try. Having booked for a couple of days, we ended up staying a week. While it was our first visit, it will definitely not be our last. The...

The location of the inn is most stunning at this time of year-June. The historical home is comfortable however, I support the comments of the earlier reviewer, CarlvonL... if you are expecting to cook up a substantial farm style breka you will be MOST disappointed. The host, Holly is very pleasant when around the homestead which is when it is...

I have been coming to St. Ann Ranch every year, and sometimes twice a year, since the B&B first opened. I make my reservations a yr. in advance to be sure I get my room, 108. Tom and Holly are ideally suited to being host/hostess, warm and friendly. Trochu has a beautiful arboretum which is unique and well worth a...

I visited the Ranch for a weekend with friends and had a wonderful time. The house itself is amazing with a very traditional history sort of cozy feel. Each room had its own bathroom and was decorated to suit the character of the home. We enjoyed a walk into town and the wonderful fragance of the wood burning fireplace. Tom...

This might be a great place to stay, depending on your expectations. The property is well-maintained and attractive, and a lot of time and effort has been invested in decor. The building is the early 20th century home of a wealthy ranch family, much remaining authentic, despite subsequent renovations. The grounds include several old buildings, including a 1905 log cabin,...

We went to the Ranch, which is actually a part of Trochu a century ago, which has been moved to accomodate the new railroad. It's historical and the entrance is free (You can leave 1 dollar or two in the little can near the entrance, for maintenance). It's small, but instructive, quiet and a very nice place to be. Next...
