Quite average motel. A bit run down at our stay actually, but we were in need of a stay at this particular stretch, so it was OK for the purpose. Decently kept but not outstanding in any way. A couple of rowdy guests in the parking lot in the evening, but quiet at night. Breakfast was average but staff was...

It's right off of the main street, and is unassuming from first glance, but we were pleasantly surprised. They serve a nice breakfast in the morning, the rooms have all been renovated, and while they are small, they are very nice. There was a large refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, nice beds, and really nice people.

We ended up in Hollister and the Inn was the one place with a vacancy. They had rooms for us all right. They were very helpful and friendly. They really tried to make the WiFi work. It didn't in my room, but it did in the office. The price would make you expect a bit more updated furniture. The room...

We stayed here last Thursday night, 9-22-16. When we checked in the clerk took my credit card (as they always do, no problem). However, I paid cash for the room. The next day I was charged on my credit card for the room! I immediately called, the clerk took my name and phone number and said someone would look into...

The location was great and very convenient. I was in walking distance from where I wanted to be. The staff was awesome very nice. Now the rooms are a different story. They were very run down. They need a huge update. For the price I paid for the 3 nights I was there . I do think they could do...

I stayed one night at the Holister Inn in Holister CA a few weeks ago. This was a rock hounding trip to the BLM areas south of Holister. The hotel served its intended purpose very well. I wanted a cheap, clean and convince the spot. This hotel meet all my needs. The room was a bit worn, but not a...

It was just simply awful .. maybe whst you might find in garden City, Kansas, but California? Crap, furniture there since the 1950's, pathetic portable heater, awful single beds, dirty... the name should have been "Slumming it for a day motel".

We chose the Hollister Inn as an alternative to staying in the Monterrey area, as everything there seemed overpriced for what it offered. Hollister also gave us the chance to stay in a proper old style Motel, in a real town, rather than a lot of the tourist places we would be staying in on our road trip. On arrival...
