Had family visiting from Iceland and we wanted to get out of the heat of the desert. It was 114....in Idyllwild it was in the upper 80 and WONDERFUL! The cabin was clean and cozy. We had an awesome 3 day getaway and the family from Iceland really enjoyed the cabin. It's very convent because everything in town is within... More

The Idyllwild Inn is a unique place! Accommodations range from rustic cabins to updated cabins to one room 'theme rooms'. The property is very well maintained and close to everything the quaint mountain town of Idyllwild has to offer. Great for couples, families, friends...anyone! The owner/operators are great to work with ... ask them their story and then tell how... More

Such a fun place! Close to everything, restaurants, shopping! A little over one hour drive from Inland Empire. Very quiet lots of trees, squirrels and birds! Yes we would go back again! A fun place to just walk around the town!

Idyllwild Inn has great rooms and cabins to meet anyone's needs. We usually stay in a one bedroom cabin and this works great for us. The location of the Inn is right in the center of town, so you can walk anywhere you need to go. The kitchenette in the room makes it easy for us, as we have special... More

We booked a new rustic suite for a Sunday-Wed stay in mid-July and were happy with it. These were in cabin 21, which was toward the back and had a nice, wooded view from the deck. We couldn't try the fire place (and didn't really want to given how warm the weather was), so we cannot comment on that, but... More

4.0 star rating 6/13/2016 1 check-in Just spent the weekend with husband at one of the themed rooms, Camp. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised with how clean it was, bed could be better (little too soft for us) but we got a king and it was great. Toilet and sink in the bathroom are a bit too high,... The cabins here are rustic but clean and most importantly, very centrally located! There is even a market across the street in case you forget anything. We loved that we could bring our pup along too. We liked the complimentary bundle of firewood. Linens and bedding are provided as well as soap but nothing else so don't forget to bring... More

The Idyllwild Inn is one of the oldest and coolest establishments "on the hill" in Idyllwild, CA. My wife and I have spent a week around New Year's Eve there for over 20 years ... save for the year 2000 when we stayed home to witness the End Times ... big disappointment that! We've also stayed up here a number... More

This was the first place I called in Idyllwild and I am soo happy I did ... Everyone at Idyllwild Inn was very pleasant and we reserved the "theme room" Indian and this room was very cozy and very clean and the Inn was centered in the middle of several restaurants and bars and walking distance to everywhere.... Awesome place... More

If you are looking for luxurious, upscale accommodations this place is not for you. If you are fine with rustic, clean, cozy and quiet at an affordable price you will be fine at the Idyllwild Inn. We stayed in a "themed room" not a cabin and found it quite acceptable. The bed was comfy and the fireplace was very nice.... More
