This was the 4th time we stayed here and by far the best experience so far. We stayed at the Willow Haus, Cabin #6 with another couple. This cabin has a bedroom, living room with fireplace, dining area, and fully stocked kitchen. They even have...More
I had briefly visited Mountain Center / Idylwild area when passing thru with friends driving from P Springs back to LA many years ago. It was forever etched in my memory as a beautiful mountain area with Tahquitz and Suicide Rock as its high backdrops....More
We went on an adventure to see if we could do a road trip that included mountains with our new electric car. No official charging stations in Idyllwild, we felt stranded. Found Fern Valley Inn on PlugShare and they saved us by providing charging and...More

Parking for #6 is directly off of Fern Valley Rd and in front of the cottage. So you don't have to cross through construcroon to enter this cottage from the assigned parking spot. However, if you walked to anywhere, other than the office, from #6 you would have to cross over ditches and construction tape. It's been almost all months since we stayed the first weekend in June. Maybe construction is complete. I would call and ask. Best of luck to you.
