Stayed here last spring as well. This is a beautiful resort with a sandy beach, pool bar, conference facilities golf, bike rentals (free), spa. A bit of everything. It's a large resort so has all the amenities including the prices. Service at pool you raise your flag on your chair and supposedly someone comes and takes your order. Neither stay...

Stayed here with a girlfriend for a chilled weekend away for some pool time. Pool was huge and heated which helped as we went in Jan. Drink service by the pool was a huge plus! Also had dinner at the bar which was great and really friendly. I think in the summer this is popular with families and while we...

We stayed at the Renaissance over Memorial Day Weekend. We have a family of five and we managed to squeeze into one room, since there was limited availability over the weekend using Marriott points. There were two queen beds in our room and we ordered a rollaway. The rollaway bed that was a blow up mattress. It was from the...

Thank you for providing a review of your recent stay. We agree that the Frontgate blow-up bed is a site to see being assembled and appreciate your feedback on its comfort. This past Memorial Day weekend was indeed very busy and I apologize that we fell short in providing an exemplary pool experience. We do hope you will visit us...

My husband and I checked in on a Saturday (Memorial Day Weekend) and stayed for 2 nights. Upon checking in we were offered an upgrade to a corner room but it was overlooking the parking lot so we declined. We wanted to stick with our pool view room. That was a mistake. The view was nice but we were on...

We appreciate your feedback and thank you for your kind comments about our team and your overall impression of the guestrooms. We are very sorry for the noise issues and that your air conditioner was not working correctly and kept you awake. We would very much like to discuss with you further and get the room number so that we...

Stayed at the Esmerelda for five days with my family. We came mainly to enjoy the pool and relax and we were not disappointed. The pool area is very scenic and well maintained. The pool staff was very attentive and friendly. We went to the spa, it was okay but a little overpriced. We found the restaurants to be good...

Had a great stay at the Renaissance Esmeralda. We enjoyed the breakfast at Cava and the pool as well. The rooms were nice. it does get light very early with the shutters so don't plan on sleeping in. We had a good experience at the bar downstairs but the nightclub was closed when we tried to go (Saturday night?). Good...

In March of 2013, my husband and I stayed for 3 fantastic nights at the Renaissance Esmeralda in Indian Wells. We were in town for the BNP Paribas tennis tournament. The location was perfect and the hotel shuttle to the tennis park made coming and going very convenient. Everything about this hotel is superb. The front desk, bellmen, spa personnel,...

This hotel is tired and in need of updating. The room was so boring and dated!! The outside pool area is very nice, but what about the rooms!! We had a King room it needed paint and the blank white walls were very blah!! now behind the bed it had some hideous abstract mural on the entire wall!! So ugly!!...

Thank you for your positive comments about our pool area and overall experience with our staff. We apologize that our resort fee was not explained to you and we are disappointed to hear that our guest rooms did not live up to your expectations. We recently underwent a multimillion dollar guest room renovation and the response has been very positive...

The resort overall was very nice. The rooms have obviously been updated and very spacious (and the beds comfortable), the grounds are well kept, and the food we had both at the sushi bar and the Italian restaurant was quite good. It is a very large resort so I didn't expect service that was worth remembering (it wasn't), but nothing...

We stayed at the resort as an adult family. The amenities are excellent as are the grounds and the pool. It is a very large hotel and in no way cozy or intimate. The breakfast restaurant was very slow but the food was quite reasonable. The service in the bar in the evening was impressive. The rooms were disappointing given...
