This place is definitely not a resort per se as it's got a swimming pool and that's pretty much it, but you're definitely paying for the location as it's located right next to Tomales Bay (has it's own mini privateish beach) and Point Reyes. There is a kayaking rental place next door and a couple of restaurant/general store a couple...

Beautiful , quiet, resort, to get away, and enjoy nature at its best! Rooms were very clean, and restaurant was delicious. A wonderful place to stay, and dog friendly. You can go hiking, or kayaking, or just watch the sunset from your room, with a glass of wine! Stunning!

if the word "resort" makes you think of luxury accommodations, spas, golf courses or infinity pools then read all of the reviews and check out the website so you know where you're actually going. There is a pool and the property is located right on Tomales Bay with beautiful views, a pier extending into the bay and a sliver of...

This hotel is WONDERFUL!! They need to do some work on their advertising! We stayed in room 34 on the water. The views are amazing, the sun rises right outside your windows. The bed is SUPER COZY and comfy. Pillows are great! Some super squishy and a few harder ones in the closet. Hot water in the bathroom is HOT!...

My partner and I stayed here for several nights, enjoying the nearby hiking. We stayed off season and mid week. There were plenty of empty units. The desk clerk assigned us the worst room in the complex (next to the restaurant without any view and near remodeling and noisy -- we could hear the restaurant TV through our walls). We...

We stayed in 31, one of the Bay View rooms, which was $245 for a weekday. The room was large and nicely decorated, with a small couch, tiny corner desk, chair, and a fireplace. (2 Duraflame logs were provided. If you want more, you have to pay for them.) There was also a mini fridge and coffee maker. No land...

Tucked in Marin, Tomales Bay Resort, also know as the boat-motel, in part because of the small dock area for sail and skiffs. Centrally located to hiking and sitting by the dock of the bay, (sorry, I couldn't resist the pun) we'll run, clean and fairly priced. And what a view!

Nice place to stay in a beautiful area. The location is perfect for exploring the coast and charming small towns nearby. There are so many things to see and do. But, if you just want to relax, take walks on the bay, and admire the sunsets, you won't be disappointed. The staff is cheerful and helpful. They are very sweet...

We've been here several times before, and have stayed in the same room each time. The staff are all still friendly, laid back, happily able and ready to do their jobs. The room is the same - comfortable, convenient, awesome bay view. This time we really planned - oh, my the extreme tide was sooooo extreme and awesome to view!...

We stayed in Room 28 - Bay View Room. The room is nice enough. Comfortable bed, good steam shower, and clean. The view is gorgeous. Both DJ and Sarah at the front desk were very nice and efficient during check-in and check-out. DJ was very helpful when we wanted to warm up some food in the office microwave. The thing...
