The location was lovley, and the front desk was very kind and helpful. Your stay will include a contenental breakfast which was an added bonus inclusing the free wifi....

I thought that this motel is one of the most reasonable and economical places to stay along the Hwy. 49 corridor that I have come across. It is affordable, well maintained and very central to all of the Jackson area. I would recommend to anyone. NC

Booked Jackson Lodge for 2 night Dec. 23, 2011, to Dec. 24, 2011. Upon arriving at this motel the price I was quoted was wrong, never got AAA discount nor was I asked about this , the mangement was rude and I guess since they are the owers they can be rude. Clean and quiet, but the rooms have not been remodeled since the 60's. Bed was hard and pillows were double-sized, making for a sore neck in the morning. Breakfast was pitiful, offering toast, pastry pieces, two kinds of cereal, or cold oatmeal. There must be a better place to stay in the Jackson area.

I enjoyed a night at the Jackson Lodge recently and it was a pleasant surprise. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the room was clean and larger than most, the bed was comfortable, but the best part was the wall of windows facing out to open space and woods. I left them open all night and it was quiet and...

The Jackson Lodge is a great out of the way place with owners who take extremely good care of their quests and their Motel. A beautiful clean pool...

For earning a No. 1 hotel ranking in Jackson, I sure was not impressed. Yes, the rooms are large, but not worthy of the $100 price tag. The Jackson Lodge is very basic and so is the breakfast: bagels, toast, oatmeal and some teeny apples. Quite lame. My advice, stay in a town with more charm like Sonora, Angel's Camp...

4 and 5 star reviews should have some special meaning. If you look at my other postings, you'll see that we have traveled quite a lot and have stayed at a full range of lodgings. And I suppose that one's star rating would have to be based on all of a reviewer's combined experiences. That said, I do wonder why...
