Jackson Rancheria Casino is a great place to stay and gamble. I preferJackson due to employees being courteous and friendly. The place is different because of the Corona but the staff is the same-GREAT. I was there on 3/20/2020 for the night. The room was clean and everything was packaged for my safety. Family's were having a great time in the pool area and other's enjoying playing on the large variety of slot machines and table games. I have one complaint: Pacific Grill needs employees that havve greater listening skills and management that take pride of the products which are being sold.. I was given a $30 slip for food and used it at the Paific Grill as noted (4 orders of chicken tenders and a Monster energy drink. 6/20/2020: ordered and specified that all tenders were to go in one box and only a handful of fries in the same box as the tenders. This did not happen-one box of tenders and another full of fries. I brought it to the attention of the server whom didn't seemed interested and threw the fries in the garbage. Once back in my room, I found that all was not tenders but small pieces like nuggets. Tired I chalked it up and went to bed. I ordered the same exact thing on 6/21/2020 at 11:26 with the same instructions from the night before. What I received was 2 boxes, one with chicken and one with fries. I bring it to the attention of now none Johnny (manager). He tells me that they must not have understood. I tell him that I practically walked the cashier through the order and heard him tell the cooks exactly what I wanted. I also, brought to Johnny's attention, after openning the other box, that the chicken was not tenders but nuggets-same as the night before. Johnny tells me that this is the way they're served. Disgusted I left and went to the Dreamcatchers and spoke with Kathy (a delightful women). After telling her the problem and the response from Johnny, whom I did not know was the manager at the time of exchange, Kathy called and ask that the manager come and speak with me. Holly S#!+! Guess who walked over a few minutes later? JOHNNY. I asked him "Didn't I just talk with you?' He tells me," yes, about the tenders". He then goes into this spill about how nuggets should'nt have been put into the box and he would have to talk with the cooks. I tell him that even Kathy noted that many pieces after being shown, where practically breading and nowhere close to being a tender. Remember that Johnny is the same person not even 10 minutes ago that said "this is the way their served" in a dismissing manner. LOL How fast the story changes when a customer knows how to advocate for self. Johnny continues to blame the cooks and offer a variety of excuses. He tells me to come ask for him when I'm back at the Grill and he would take care of me. Shouldn't he have asked if he could replace the order right then and not later? Isn't that part of his job to make sure that customers are satisfied? Why did or should it take a customer escalation, after being told and shown the existing problem with the order.

READ BEFORE YOU GO PEOPLE.....Due to the Covid, things are different.....Don't come on here and complain if you did not do your homework before staying there. We stayed for one night in the Junior suite and it was wonderful.....Big room, comfy bed, and a nice tub to soak in.....We had dinner at the steak house and it was nummy in our tummy. It was nice to be able to sit down and eat, it's been some time since we were able to do that. Make sure you make a reservation on Open Table since there is limited seating. The drinks were strong and nummy.....The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there are only 3 seats at a blackjack table so on a Thursday afternoon at 4pm they only had room for 9 people to play. Those people were sitting there for hours so there is no way they were going to give up their spot. I got lucky because of a $100.00 table that wasn't being used changed to a $15.00 table so I was able to grab a seat there.....They are going to have issues with not enough seats for players, that's for sure.....YES, YOU WILL GET A TEMPERATURE CHECK EVERYTIME YOU GO INTO THE CASINO OR THE HOTEL....Staff was VERY FRIENDLY and mentioned for us to take consumable items home (Everything is bagged and cleaned) because they are just going to throw it away......Overall it was a very nice visit.....NO IT'S NOT LIKE HOW IT WAS....This is the new norm for now....PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO.....Not all the restaurants are open.....The swimming pool was opening today......One other thing....The dealers were great and very friendly.......Make sure you tip them, they are working very hard during these times and having to put up with people that are not happy and yelling at them......

We drove over for the Fisherman's Wharf Buffet - All you can eat lobster and crab. It was the best ever. Excellent service and friendly staff. Lots of varieties and the seafood was so fresh. For non seafood lovers, there are plenty of other meat options. Great salad and dessert bar as well.

On our last visit the Casino placed a ticket on our car window. We always parked high up in the garage area to avoid traffic around our new car. We also would make sure we parked in a space that others did not want to (far away from the entrance to Casino and elevator/stairs). Because we were parked over a line they were going to tow our car! Not even a nice warning of please don't park over a line. We never arrive on busy weekends and there is never a car parked next to us when we arrive or when we leave. No one wants to park that far away. They are more interested in getting into the Casino as fast as possible or can not walk that far. Well we sent our gaming cards back to them and included their note attached to our car window with a letter from us explaining our views. We told them we want our accounts canceled and we will not be back due to the rude treatment. Employees have always told us they try hard not to upset their customers due to not wanting to loose them. Well their CEO sent a letter back to us stating they canceled our accounts and don't know what they can do. The garage employee is just looking out for trouble to take care of. Look for the real trouble! Plenty of that to handle! He should have told us he is sorry and give us some incentive to come back. A new Casino has just opened last year that is closer to us, so they will be more than happy to take our money! They now loose our business and the word will get around.
