New young family owners were so welcoming and genuinely gracious! You can clearly see that they're trying their best to change the not too pleasant management of the past (as you can see from previous reviews). They upgraded our room to accommodate our large family. My 11 years daughter who loves antiques and doll size furniture was in heaven! Home... More

Very disappointing, nothing like I expected a B&B to be. Had the family suite for three adult people. When the bed was pulled out you couldn't get out the door. One bed only had a bottom sheet and blankets available in the closet. Breakfast was not very good and coffee was terrible. Would not recommend this place. We only ended... More

This B&B is in a poor state of disrepair inside and out. Housekeeping dismal, toiletries supplied are just a mixed batch. Breakfast was a joke. Couldn't find the rose garden, couldn't find a shop on site, long stairs to get to rooms, everything very worn and tired inside and out. Couldn't see out bedroom windows as they were so dirty.... One of the most awful experiences I've had. Hotel is dingy (not old charm), heavily soiled carpets, AC does not work at all - spent the night in the 50's, owner asks that you eat breakfast at his other property, bathroom had hairs in it, the porch had old half smoked cigars in it. When I asked for a refund,... More

We stayed in the Sunset Suit which is a large room with a king bed, sofa, large television, balcony and double headed large shower. No bathtub - which is fine by me. The owners are VERY nice people, great family. They have only recently purchased the place and are learning the B&B situation quickly. They have another hotel, but I... More

This B&B is located a very short walk from the centre of Jamestown, which is a pretty small town. We stayed here as it was a relatively short drive (about an hour) from Yosemite. The owners had only recently purchased this B&B and are in the process of gradually improving the facilities and once these are finished, I would expect... More

This property is run by an extremely nice couple but things head down hill after that. Bathrooms are upgraded and our bed was fine but the bedroom is really tired and sort of sad. That's true of the whole house which needs rehab inside and out. Breakfast was adequate in quantity but also pretty drab. It's hard to be negative... More

Owner and daughter sweet. Doug the counter hwlp is nice. Bathroom clean and stocked. Only ceiling fan for air. Chairs need replaced, broken down. Breakfast is non existing, stale and old food. Lobby area, mirrors need cleaned. I hope it improves, it does have potential if managed correctly.

This lovely B&B is located just off the main street in Jamestown, CA. Its ambiance is lovely Victorian furnishings. It is within one block to downtown Jamestown, thus making an easy walk to local shops, restaurants, Cocktail lounges,& the historic Railroad station, where the movie "Back to The Future" was filmed. The breakfast is sumptuous. There is ample parking. Prices... More

“Our room on the ground floor seemed very quiet, but I think there was only one other couple spending the night when we were there. Our room was equipped with a TV and DVD player and there was a great movie selection in the "library" across the hall from our room - honor system $2/per viewing.”
