We spent two nights at Fort Ross Lodge. we were taking my wife's elderly father for a short road trip. Fort Ross Lodge is quiet and in a good location to explore the surrounding coastline. Sea Ranch is 20 minutes away as well as Gualala and beyond. There are enough good restaurants to satisfy most tastes for a couple of...

Was excited to stay along California coast line so chose historic Fort Ross for lodging. Room was OK--was a warm afternoon upon arrival and room was hot and stuffy... no AC and sun was harsh coming through windows on the roofline--had to open patio door to get ventilation, so it cooled off nicely once sun went down. Tried to walk...

Nice, quiet room with a fireplace and a great view of the ocean. We opted for a King unit with a outdoor Jacuzzi and it was well worth it. it was beautiful to sit outside in the tub and watch the stars. Although the room was a little dated, having a kitchenette was a bonus. The downside is that there...

Thanks for taking the time to write a nice review for our lodge. We are trying to improve the wifi, but it isn't happening as fast as I would like. We hope to have you stay with us on your next trip to California.

A friend recommended the Fort Ross Lodge as a great place to spend a quiet night on the Pacific Coast. The were spot on. This place is in the middle of nowhere. We took our friend's advice and brought food with us and grilled on the patio. You can find a path that leads to the cliff's edge with a...

Wanted a place out of the city for a couple of nights and wanted to be along the coast. Found Fort Ross, and we really enjoyed it. We had a Queen bed room, our friends in unit next to us had a King. Both units, while small, were actually a little roomier than we expected. Fireplace with real wood in...

I would come back as a couple. It is quaint, clean, right on the ocean, and affordable. I stopped here to sleep as a walk-in, as there is no cell service for miles . I was pleasantly surprised it was within my budget. The hostess was friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

This is a lovely hotel with views of the Pacific from most rooms, very quiet and relaxing, real log fires and hot tubs in many rooms. We loved our stay there, receptionist was very enthusiastic and helpful... but... reception is only open during the day, take something for breakfast as there is nothing to eat at the Lodge other than...

3 * The Fort Ross Lodge is between Fort Ross Historic park and Salt Point State Park, 1.7 miles north of the turn off for Fort Ross. Even though the address says “Jenner” it is actually a half hour (13 miles) north of the town of Jenner. The lodge consists of several buildings which are mostly 4 units each all...

From the first moment we pulled in to this lodge to the time we left, everything was perfect. The managers were fabulous and very helpful when we checked in. The room was so spacious and had everything we needed--even a bar-b-que! The view was stunning, and we ended up sitting on the patio, watching the sunset and sipping wine. Comfy...
